We had a room with a sea view which was spectacular and possibly the best view we have ever had. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent and very varied.
The entertainment on most nights was very watchable and the staff especially in the main bar were very friendly and sociable.
“ Top Tip: The Sports Bar near to the Marina was very reasonably priced , welcoming and an excellent venue for watching coverage of any sporting events.

“ What can I say to do this hotel justice, Hotel was faultless so where the staff nothing was too much trouble, entertainment very proffessional, brilliant choice of food. every where was spotless. The only downside is the hotel is looking a bit tired, but having said that I beleive a refurbushment is due to start this winter. The Hermes is only a five minute walk into the centre of Ag Nik so very handy for shops and other restaurants, We would definately go back to this hotel again, well done Hermes you deserve all the stars. I would go as far ro say it's the best hotel we have stayed in thank you Travel Republic you came up trumps again

This beach hotel has a 24-hour reception desk, an indoor bar, a lounge with satellite TV, fireplace, mini-market, as well as a conference room capable of accommodating up to 50 persons. There is a large lawn area, as well as both a kids' club and a children's playground offering safe haven at playtime for younger guests. The hotel has 170 rooms in total. All rooms in the main building were renovated over winter 2006/2007. It is air-conditioned and has a lobby, a safe, cloakroom, currency exchange facility and lift access. Dining facilities also feature. Internet access is offered (subject to fees).
“ A clean and efficient hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The twin rooms are a little basic for 4* but quite comfortable. It was nice to have a working fridge, balcony and air conditioning! The pool area is generally in quite good condition although a few of the sun loungers had broken struts - and they have to be claimed well before 9am.

This comfortable, fully renovated hotel has 311 rooms, distributed around 2 main buildings, as well as terraced bungalows. There is also a lobby with reception, a lounge, lifts, a lobby bar, a TV room, a boutique, a jewellery shop, a small shop, an air-conditioned restaurant, an e la carte restaurant, a beach bar, a tropical beach bar, an oriental lounge bar, a theatre stage bar, a conference centre, business centre facilities and a fully equipped medical centre. There is also a playground and a kids' club for younger guests.
“ This is an excellent hotel, we had originally booked 1 week but enjoyed it so much we booked an extra week (cheapest deal through travel republic!) It is a beautifully designed complex, we stayed in the village side across the road rather than the hotel and we found it to be very quiet.

Miramare Resort Hotel is an attractive hotel, bungalow and Luxury Villas complex in Eastern Crete. It is situated in a magnificent and peaceful location just above the sea front, with a startling view of the picturesque town of Aghios Nikolaos and the Mirabello Bay between two fully organized beaches offering full facilities and a large variety of sea sports. The hotel is built in traditional island architecture supporting the conservation of Cretan nature, with low buildings, all of which are generously spacious for your relaxation and enjoyment. It consists of 234 rooms.
“ all in all a great place, AI was quite good but got a little boring, plenty of fresh salads, fish and meat dishes. October meant the hotel was quite quiet which was good for us. Everything very clean, pools are good, and no problem being served at the bar, very few Brits.

Located in Chersonissos, Aks Annabelle Village Hotel is near the airport and close to Star Beach Water Park and Lychnostatis. “ The accomadation was good as was the hotel staff,the food was super,a good selection of dishes ,decent coffee,decent drinks.the only downers for me was the lack of activities (due to animation troupe being cut down).The other downer was the beach,pool and tavern bars closing at 6pm leaving just one bar open ,i know its not high season but it is nice to sit out by the beach bar after 6pm .
