Not suitble for disabled, built on 5/6 levels. Lot of step climbing to get about.
Return from beach require a fair climb or lift use. Beach is shingle and very small.
Evening entertainment starts 10pm ends 11pm followed by disco.
“ Top Tip: Nice bay for a swim using hotel facilities across the valley.

But again, it was the very end of the season (the very last week hotel was opened). It doesn’t really matter if you don’t mind staying around the hotel most of the time but it’s a bit of a problem if you want to explore other areas of the island.
“
Top Tip:
Top tip-for the ones who are planning to stay in the hotel at the end of Oct-make sure you buy a mosquito repellant! None during the day time but very annoying at evening/night time!
The bar at the beach is open nearly 24/7 if you fancy a late drink or a snack.
Good entertainment program with sports competitions, kids club and evening entertainment.

Definately NOT 5*, the bed have every spring poking up from the mattress which the hotel covered with a memory foam mattress cover when I complained, the bath/shower side screen did not fit on the side of the bath so I had to jam it with a towel or got a flooded bathroom when I had a shower, the side of the bath next to the wall had a sticky residue on it, presumably a poor sealing agent.
The food was poor, tinned mushrooms for breakfast one day reheated in oil and garlic, nothing was ever hot, very "same-ish" best meal was breakfast.
Don't go if you are on your own as you will be met with wonder.
Too far from anywhere unless you hire a car, I know it was near the end of the season but only one bus a day to Heraklion at 09.30, then back at 14.30.

Really great hotel and views outstanding. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Not suitable for anyone who wants to be near to bars etc or if you have walking difficulties as very steep hills, but we explored arouwhisk you can find other villages and beaches nearby. The rooms were clean, quite basic unless you have a room with own pool or VIP rooms all seem to have sea views though.
Would definateley go there again.
