“ the hotel and rooms are very clean.mids bar staff excellent you must get a sea view room the view is breathtaking.food very good for allinclusive.resort is exceelent.cindys bar turn right out of hotel it is above a restaurent best value drinks anywhere.

“ I would not stay at the Coral Hotel again. Although they have a few very nice rooms overlooking the swimming pool. They also have some very poor rooms. We had booked 2 single rooms but we were first given a family rooom to share. This was in very poor condition. It was not clean and smelt, room 205/206. We refused this and they said they had no other rooms for us. After waiting an hour and requesting a refund they gave us 2 lovely rooms 426 and 429, they must be the best rooms in the Hotel. After 2 days they wanted us to move as one of our rooms was a family room. We were then offered 2 more rooms, in what I can only describe as a pit, surrounded by walls, with very little natural daylight. We refused these rooms and were then given rooms on the first floor, next to the restaurant, with quite nice views, but the noise was horrendous. The noise from the restaurant, the bins being emptied, deliveries all started at 5.54am. The noise from the road went on all night.

“ Top Tip: Some lovely restaurants. Pegalos fish restaurant - best fish soup, Amalthea - new restaurant lovely food and surroundings, Ofu to Lo for best views of the rising moon.
Almyros beach is lovely.

“ Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent range of meals (as a Coeilac that has to follow a strict gluten free diet, my needs were catered for very well, with the help of the chef who met me at every meal to advise on what I could or could not have and was willing to supplement the wide range with additional food, if I'd needed it). A great, cosmopolitan hotel, a huge range of nations represented. It was clean, well organised and efficient. Although I very rarely visit the same resort twice, I would not hesitate recommending the hotel (and Travel Republic) to friends and family.

“ Top Tip: The dive centre staff were very helpful (just opposite the hotel, on the beach). Economy car hire (about 200m from the hotel) were helpful, cheapest I could find and I would recommend them.

“ THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND VARIED AND THE VIEW FROM THE HOTEL ROOM WAS FANTASTIC. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND A GOOD SIZE WITH AIR CONDITIONING. ALTHOUGH IT WAS ALL INCLUSIVE THERE WAS LIMITED SELECTION OF DRINKS EG: YOU WERE UNABLE TO OBTAIN TEA OR COFFEE WITH YOUR LUNCH/EVENING MEAL. IT WOULD HAVE HELPED IF THERE HAD BEEN COFFEE/SNACK MACHINES FOR AI GUESTS WHO WANTED TO TAKE A DRINK/SNACK TO THEIR ROOM WHEN IT BECAME TOO HOT TO SIT BY THE POOL WHICH WAS THE ONLY PLACE FROM 10.00AM TO 12.30PM TO OBTAIN DRINKS. SUCH ITEMS AS PURE FRUIT JUICE AND ICE-CREAMS WERE CHARGED AT AN EXTRA PRICE IF YOU WANTED THEM. IN THE EVENING THE ONLY AREA WAS THE BAR WHICH WAS NOT A VERY INVITING PLACE. THE STAFF INSISTED ON YOU FINISHING YOUR DRINK BEFORE THEY WOULD SERVE YOU ANOTHER. THERE WAS A LIMITED SELECTION OF LOCAL DRINKS AND ENTERTAINMENT AND THE BAR CLOSED AT 11.00PM SO IF YOU WANTED A DRINK AFTER THIS TIME IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AT THE HOTEL SO MOST GUESTS WENT TO BED OR WENT TO ANOTHER BAR.

“ Top Tip: TURN LEFT AND WALK 5 MINS DOWN THE ROAD AND YOU COME UPON A BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACH. THE WATER WAS CLEAR AND WARM AND THERE IS A LOVELY LITTLE BEACH BAR WITH VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOU WELCOME.
