This is a lovely hotel right on the beach, you need to go into Aghios Nickoloaus to get entertainment.
If your looking for a relaxing holiday this is it, Lena and georgia the managers are very nice and helpful, they helped make our holiday.
The only downside was the limited half board menu, breakfast is the same every day and youonly get two options for dinner.
I would go again and stay room only.

The Hotel was small and very basic definietly not 4 star!
staff were very helpful and friendly! It was spotless and clean!
Towels and sheets were changed regularly. NO hairdryers and not enough plugs to use your own! Very remote!!! We were lucky to have a car! otherwise it would have been
very boring! Food was mainly plain and only 2 choices! Sweets were very boring!
Breakfast was typical continental but beautiful presented! Nobody was trere when we arrived at 2 am in the morning and only one room was reserved for us with keys!!!!
We just searched for rooms with more keys and moved in!
They were very upset that they got it wring and we did get a free 2 carafes of wine!
I would not use this hotel again for the reason that it is too remote and on a busy road!

Small but modern hotel with an excellent, friendly atsmosphere amongst staff and fellow guests alike.
Situated across the road from a fully serviced sandy / shingle beach with safe bathing. The road never presented a problem to cross. The hotel and beach area are on the flat so very suitable for those with walking difficulties. Stunning mountain views out to sea.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable although bathrooms small ( very much like accommodation on smaller Greek islands ) but fully functional. We took half board which was well worth having - given the price you did not feel you were losing out by eating elsewhere some evenings. Menu choice limited but Greek salad and bread always provided as an appetiser. Food quality good but not the place to get your "five a day vegetables!" No nightly entertainment apart from meeting and talking with fellow guests. Please bear in mind that with the exception of a neighbouring bar and three tavernas opposite ( one belonging to the hotel ) you need to travel 4km into Aghios Nikolaos for evening entertainment.
Hotel is not "4 Star" by any definition, more like "3 Star" or "3 Star Superior" but an excellent base for a stay with a very personal service.
All in all an excellent and relaxing hotel where you were certainly not treated as a number as you are in the larger "4" and "5 Star" properties. Would certainly go back if planning to stay in the Agios Nikolaos area again.

Top Tip:
A visit to Sitia is a must - some one and a half hours on the coast and mountain road, the scenery best enjoyed by bus.
What ever your age, Alexandros roof top cafe bar in the centre of Aghios Nikolaos is excellent if you like music from the 60's to now! Even if you listen from one of the pavement cafes adjacent it will make for a very enjoyable evening.

This comfortable, fully renovated hotel has 311 rooms, distributed around 2 main buildings, as well as terraced bungalows. There is also a lobby with reception, a lounge, lifts, a lobby bar, a TV room, a boutique, a jewellery shop, a small shop, an air-conditioned restaurant, an e la carte restaurant, a beach bar, a tropical beach bar, an oriental lounge bar, a theatre stage bar, a conference centre, business centre facilities and a fully equipped medical centre. There is also a playground and a kids' club for younger guests.
“ This is an excellent hotel, we had originally booked 1 week but enjoyed it so much we booked an extra week (cheapest deal through travel republic!) It is a beautifully designed complex, we stayed in the village side across the road rather than the hotel and we found it to be very quiet.

Situated on the coastal line of Agios Nikolaos, the Coral Hotel is overlooking the endless Blue of the Mirabello Bay. “ What can I say to do this hotel justice, Hotel was faultless so where the staff nothing was too much trouble, entertainment very proffessional, brilliant choice of food. every where was spotless. The only downside is the hotel is looking a bit tired, but having said that I beleive a refurbushment is due to start this winter.

“ Excellent complex. very clean, well maintained, Staff very helpful and friendly. Beach slightly stoney , but soon learn't where it was easier to access the sea near the hire end of the beach, beautiful clean beach and water was crystal clear.
