The family run, English speaking hotel offers traditional friendly Cretan hospitality. It has 25 rooms spread over 3 floors, including 6 studios, as well as single, twin and double rooms. Facilities include a reception area with a safe, limited dining facilities and car parking.This hotel is situated in the quiet seaside resort of Amoudara, Heraklion, Crete, set back from the main road and just 350 m from the 6 km long sandy beach. The centre of Heraklion is just 5 km away.All rooms are traditionally furnished and come with a TV, balcony and en suite bathroom. Most have either a view of the pool and/or the sea. For a small fee air conditioning, a fridge and children's cots can be provided.The hotel has a swimming pool with pool bar, snack bar, sun loungers (no extra charge), and parasols. There is also a pool table and a dartboard (both subject to fees).The hotel is open throughout the summer season, from April to October.

“ Friendly staff and decent rooms; as you would expect for the price. A little bit of a walk to the beach ("as the crow flies", it's quite close, but following the roads takes longer). Easy transport links to Heraklion, however it is about 20 min by bus (I think buses run every 15-20mins), so not close enough to easily head back and forth between the hotel and Heraklion.
