A great value hotel in the beautiful resort of Amoudara, close to the beach and all of the resort facilities, friendly and family run, the hotel is a great base for happy holidays in Crete.

Location
On one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, Amoudara , 6 km west of Heraklion, 300m from the beach, 200 meters from shops and bars.

Payed a lot of money for this holiday, I went with my two children 6 and 15,
Payed for HB, the food was not good, we had the same breakfast every day, could only eat the Greek yogurt, My son will eat any thing but after the 3rd morning did not want to go down to the breakfast, the evening meal was not much better, the Hotel caters more for the Germans and Russian Tourist. So I ended up spending more money on food, which I was not very happy at.
The guy George whom runs the Hotel is very nice and helpful, and the views are really nice has a lovely garden with a nice pool.
The rooms and hotel are very dated and could do with been modernized a bit, no shower curtains in all the rooms.
I have been to Crete before, so do know what to expect, I am part Greek myself.
But not worth the money at all.
