“ I was booked into a twin room but all I received was a single!! Very narrow room, overlooking a concrete roof!! Charge for aircon was 6 euros per day which wasn't listed in any reading material handed to me on arrival! Very poor communication with the owners of the hotel. Food left a lot to be desired and after only one meal in the hotel I ate out in the local tavernas, especially recommended is Elena's on the main street. Not happy at all with this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone especially if travelling alone as I was.

The hotel was clean, staff ok, but there was no Thomas Cook rep available. We asked at reception - they didn't know much about it - no literature around either.
Our main complaint was the food - we booked 'all inclusive' -but unfortunately we hardly ate a thing. It was disgusting apart from the chicken. The snacks were minimal you had to ask for them and for hot drinks and milk and sugar - we stopped eating at the hotel BUT this made our holiday very expensive as we ate at the local restaurants for breakfast/lunch and evening meal. We have been to Analipsi for the past 2 years - this was the 3rd time, and we usually book self catering, hence we would never book all inclusive again. The food was not suitable for the average English person. Examples of food: CHICKEN PORTIONS, POTATOES WITH CARROTS, POTATOES WITH PEAS, ALWAYS POTATOES SWIMMING IN A TOMATOE LIKE GRAVY, NEVER CHIPS, ROAST OR MASH. PINK CAULIFLOWER, THIS WAS IN A TOMATOE SAUCE ALSO, BROCOLLI VERY STRINGY AND TOUGH.
FISH, LAMB CHOPS, ALL SERVED IN A LARGE SQUARE TRAY, AND WITH EVERYONE HELPING THEMSELVES THE MEAT ON THE CHOPS AND THE FISH FELL OFF THE BONES AND THESE WERE LEFT LOOKING VERY DISGUSTING INDEED. THERE WAS ALWAYS NOODLES, SOUP WHICH WAS TOMATOE, BUT THIS DIDN'T LOOK VERY APPETISING. THE COLD BUFFET WAS VARIOUS ASSORTED PASTA IN A COLD CREAMY SAUCE, BOWLS OF SALAD, BREAD AND NO CHOICE OF SWEET JUST GRAPES OR WATERMELON EVERY NIGHT FOR 14 NIGHTS. FOR BREAKFAST THERE WAS CEREAL, HONEY, MUISELI, NO MILK. BREAD, WATERY JAM, HAM, OR HARD BOILED EGGS WITH THE SHELLS ON - YOU HAD TO PEEL THEM! WE DIDN'T BOTHER WITH LUNCH. THIS HOLIDAY COST US A FORTUNE, AS WITH A 17 YEAR OLD SON, WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AS BOYS THAT AGE ARE ALWAYS HUNGRY. WE HAD TO BUY OUR MEALS AT RESTAURANTS WE WERE USED TO GOING TO FROM THE PREVIOUS YEARS. THIS HOTEL HAS A REPUTATION LOCALLY OF POOR FOOD. WE SPENT APPROXIMATELY £700 EXTRA TO WHAT WE EXPECTED FROM THE COST OF THE HOLIDAY, THIS WAS OUR FOOD BILL!
ALL OUR FRIENDS WHO HAVE BEEN ON ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAYS TO VARIOUS COUNTRIES, SAID WE WOULD REALLY ENJOY IT AND SO WOULD OUR SON. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS YEAR NEEDLESS TO SAY.
“
Top Tip:
OUR FAVOURITE CAFE-BAR WAS THE 'ATHENA' WHERE WE HAD BREAKFAST/LUNCH EVERY MORNING AND FOUND THE SERVICE SUPERB AS WAS THE PREVIOUS YEARS AND .... THEY REMEMBERED US!

“ Drinks, snacks and breakfast were very limited, although there was a bar fully stocked with wines and spirits, it was never open.Lunch & Evening meals would only suit those who appreciate eating as the locals would. We quite enjoyed these. We (my daughter & I ) requested a twin room but were given a double. It was fine as a base but wouldnt do all inclusive again. Lacked the typical Greek atmosphere.
“ Top Tip: Hotel is situated in a good position in this lovely, friendly village which we have previously stayed in, dont think there is a bad taverna or bar there. The beach is excellent. Local buses are easy to access.
