“ Staff very friendly and early check in appreciated. Good buffet breakfasts. Buffet Dinner could be improved simply with hot plates. Choice on our 1 night there rather limited.

“ Very good ; clean and good standard of accommodation . Pools excellent and plenty of space. Beach nearby very clean indeed and sea slopes gently so good for young children.
Breakfast could have been more plentiful ; if you arrived later there was sometimes little left and it shouldn't matter what time you arrive if you are still within the advertised time.
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly .
We enjoyed catching the local bus into Hania - it was cheap and ran regularly.
There are a few tavernas near by but no other entertainment .

“ The hotel had a nice relaxed feel about it, the staff were very helpful & friendly, the whole place was spotless clean & there was a good variety of really nice food.
If you like to be by the pool there was two to choose from set in lovely gardens,
we like the beach better as there's more going on, and we found one called Iguana
beach which was about a 20 minute walk.
Chania was easy to get to on the bus at a cost of 2-20 euros return.
Overall a most enjoyable holiday.

“ The hotel although favours families with children, young couples can enjoy a quite relaxing atmosphere with service not normally associated with 3 or 4 star hotels.

The grounds are split with self catering apartments and a hotel set amongst a well kept mature garden. It has 2 pools and both have a section for very young children (15 months to 7 years old) but no life guards.

Sun beds & umbrellas around the pools are not very busy as a rule but if you want a particular spot you need to claim them early not to be disappointed.

Breakfast is buffet style, offering eggs, croissant, cheeses and hams, cereals, fruit and local yoghurt.

There is a provision for half board which we did not take up but did enjoy reasonable meals on a couple of occasions.

My scoring is based on the cleanness of the rooms and very helpful and friendly staff, it's let down by the lack of entertainment at least once a week but some people may welcome this!

I would definitely recommend this hotel and feel it's punching above it's star rating.

“ Top Tip: There's a fantastic restaurant offering well priced food cooked with local produce located in a square up a hill, turn right out of the hotel and walk for 10-15 minutes until you reach the top. You can't miss it, it's called NIkos.

A meal for 4 with drinks is around 50 euros.
