“ The people make the hotel. They are not quite 5 star, but it's the little things that let them down. Our chambermaid rarely cleaned our mirrors and never left the right number of towels. The lunch restaurant has the friendliest service, charm at its best, but again the salad bar refrigeration unit broke down after 2 days and 6 days later it was still not fixed, shame because it was a terrific selection. on the Tuesday it appeared to be everyone's day of rest and food selection was very poor that day, good to very good other days. Reception terrific and very helpful. The internet cafe is rubbish and you pay for rubbish! Our room which was the NEW design made for ZERO privacy in the loo, don't know what the architect was thinking of.

“ Top Tip: Traditional Panathineakos restaurant in Elounda is good and very pleasant service. Walk by all the restaurants aimed at tourists - it's at the end.

“ On arrival to the hotel we were treated as if we ware the only guest at the hotel. The staff went to no end of trouble to make us feel as if we were special without being overbearing but they always had a smile on there face and they always remembered our names, witch was very nice.

The rooms are just fantastic, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and very well laid out. The grounds are beautiful and kept very well and the pools are top notch.

All the restaurants are of top quality and the the staff are the best i've come across with there ability to make a meal or dinner a special occasion.

In a heartbeat I would return to this resort as from start to finish we were given the V.I.P. treatment and all with a laugh and a joke but when we required a bit of quiet time that was given too.

I would highly recommend this hotel, there rooms there grounds there reastraunts and amenities are only outdone by there staff.

“ This was a lovely, luxurious hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.
We booked two bungalows as we had our two teenage children with us and the sea view was sublime! We didn't manage to have rooms next to each other as requested, but they were fairly close. The infinity pool was very nice though fairly small and had sea water not fresh water, we spent most of our time at the beach which was nicer than it looks in the photos! We were lucky enough to have a car so we spent a lot of time exploring the island, if we hadn't we would have felt very isolated as the hotel is well out of town.
The food and the service at the hotel were excellent, especially the breakfasts!
It is definitely worth a return visit.

Great food with plenty of variation and the evening entertainment was good.

I would suggest that the hotel is geared more towards older couples and there are few facilities on site for families or children/teenagers.

Getting around the complex would challenge those with walking difficulties as there are plenty of steps to contend with.
