Chania airport is located around 100 km away and Hereklion is 50 km from the hotel.The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Further furnishings include satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a double bed, a hire safe, heating, air conditioning, a balcony (some with a part view of the sea), direct dial telephone, Internet access and a minibar (additional fees apply). The spacious family rooms are similarly fitted and additionally include a balcony with a direct view of the sea. The spacious junior suites lie right by the beach and include a combined lounge/bedroom, a separate bedroom and a pool by the terrace.In the spacious grounds, guests will find 2 swimming pools with children's pools as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. It is also possible to make use of the indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, massage and spa treatments. Sports options include water skiing, jet skiing, diving, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, pedalo hire, horse riding, billiards/snooker and banana boating for an additional fee. Sports enthusiasts may like to play table tennis, tennis and beach volleyball (additional fees apply).

Not a 5 star hotel as rated, more a 3+
We went all inclusive, but this hotels idea of all inclusive is different to any other hotel we have stayed at. Mini-bar in room is extra, no drinks available before 11.00am or after 12.00 midnight. Food only available from restaurant at set times, and the food not very varied.
When checking out which, is at 12.00 noon, the all inclusive armband is removed so that you can no longer use the facilities.
The hotel in general is clean and well situated, but under staffed, though most of the staff were both pleasant and helpful.

Mythos Palace claims to be a 5 star hotel, but it isn't. It's probably 2 star based on Western Europe and American standards.
The hotel itself is very nice, and it's clean, but the service is terrible. In general, the staff seem to view guests as an annoyance that they can just ignore. There were a number of incidents where the staff were downright rude.
One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the SPA, but to be honest, it was rubbish. The jacuzzi was empty, and the hammam was broken. When my wife went for a massage, the masseuse kept wandering off to talk to the builders who were working on the hammam.
All in all, it's somewhere to stay, but you can probably find that for a lot less money.
“ Top Tip: The restaurants across the road from the hotel do nice food at reasonable prices, so eat there rather than in the hotel.

There is absolutely no way that this hotel is 5 star. It is a good 3 at best.
Having said that the food was good, the staff lovely. The rooms however are in need of redecoration ( in particular the bathrooms) and the tiles around the pools are treacherous.
“ Top Tip: Lovely bar next door to the hotel as you come out of the back of the hotel and to the right.
