Arminda Hotel

“ This was our 4th time at the Arminda hotel.We were welcomed as friends and had a great week.Took our son and his fiancee who both enjoyed their stay also

“ Top Tip: Both Stalis and Hersonissos are withing walking distance.Best beaches at Stalis.Try a meal at Maria`s Golden Beach, Brilliant or as one waiter would say "Bloody Nora"

“ do not rate this as a 4*.Never before at a 4* hotel have we had to pay for a towel for sunbeds!If you chose to go to the beach,cost of sunbeds,4euro,s each,sunshade 5euro,s per day.Only childrens entertainment in the evening.alcoholic drinks available,lager,wine,local brandy,ouzo and raki,other alcoholic drinks cost from,4euro-50 each.I do not call this all-inclusive! Beds changed twice a week,towels every three days whether they were soaking or not! the food was more to German taste.the staff were helpful and pleasant at all times.This was just such a disappointment compared to the many 4* hotels we have booked with you previously.Ourselves and other guests we met said they would not return to Arminda Hotel! we will be very cautous with whom we book our future holiday

“ Top Tip: No! as i have said previously never before at a 4*Hotel have we ever had to pay to use beach facilities! There was no shuttle bus if you wanted to venture out of the hotel, it was on foot,taxi or local bus which could arrive whenever! Very disappointed on our choice.

“ The hotel was simple but very nice, staff very friendly and helpfull. Really enjoyed my time there. If would be an opportunity to return, definately would return to the same hotel. Also the food was fantastic!!!!

“ Top Tip: There are some beautiful beaches near by, either go right or left hand side. And also it's cheaper loungers as in a beach near Arminda they charge much more. Also Stalida is a nice beautiful small city to go shopping. But please rent a car as it's really worth it every penny to see all the beaty of Crete,it's worth to go to Vai, where you can find a beautiful beach with plenty of palm trees, the views are amazing!!!!!

“ Hotel was a very nice place. The rooms were cleaned daily to a decent standard. We had a balcony view overlooking the swimming pools and onto the sea and was probably the best on offer.
The food was extensive. A buffet style with loads to choose from to cater for all tastes and there was plenty of it morning, lunch and evening. The snack bar was a top idea as well. If you missed either breakfast or lunch or just felt peckish during the day then there were rolls and pastries on offer throughout the day to nibble on.
Finally, the staff were very helpful. When you check in the receptionist will show you to your room. They were very knowledgeble about the local area too; how to get about and how much you should pay if you get a taxi.

“ Top Tip: The 'HAPPY TRAIN'.
It departs from the 'nana beach' hotel next door to the Arminda and costs around a fiver per person. It takes you on a tour through Stalis and Maui and into the old town lasting appox 1.5 hrs. Well worthwhile.
