I was sad to see that we had to pay for so many extras, eg
sunbeds,
beach/pool towel rental,
tonic water,
BBq nights at $18 extra
food was mundane, and the same each week, snacks were shocking, toasties, pizza, or chips (savoury) limited times too. some cake - limited to one hour in the afternoon, popcorn. Very poor!!
cinema same each week,
Very disappointing.
Probably wont book through you again.

We were a party of 4 mature adults and I can safely say we all had a wonderful holiday, the hotel was very comfortable and clean and in a great location. Although it is on a hill and there are a number of steps in the grounds, if you are reasonably active this should not be much of a problem. We enjoyed a good variety of food and the entertainment was a pleasant surprise. This was the first time we have been on an all inclusive holiday and I would highly recommend it. We all agreed that we would be happy to go there again.

Top Tip: We went for a walk along the road at the back of the hotel where there are 3 villages, with nice little shops, restaurants and bars.

Good hotel. Some reservation of sunbeds - said this was not allowed. Also said long trousers had to be worn by men at dinner. This was not enforced which we found disappointing. Service was good & staff friendly. Able to get out & about using local buses as these stopped at the end of the road to the hotel.

The complex was very affluent, with several bars both pool side and indoors. There were seven pools in total with two good sized children's pools with, however the indoor pool was closed during the summer season. There was also a good gym and sauna area for those wishing for an energetic holiday. The staff at the complex were very friendly, however were not local people but mainly from Poland.

On the down side, the complex is built on a hill, requiring negotiation of several stair cases to reach the various levels of the complex, which could be a burden on the aged or disabled.

Greece as a nation is undergoing severe financial problems at present, and as a result prices were very expensive, for example a short purchased within the complex would cost a minimum of 6 Euros, and a bottle of beer would also cost six Euros. However, the option of all inclusive which we utilised, provided a good selection of spirits, wine and local lager, and the food in the restaurant was excellent with a vast choice to suit all tastes.

Another down side of the complex was that the entertainment was geared towards German people, especially the kids club whereby the staff only spoke German all of the time, so that the two English children in our party and the many other English children at the complex could not understand them and therefore could not fully join in.

On the whole, the complex was very enjoyable, however i would recommend that anyone interested in staying there, should take advantage of the many inexpensive all inclusive deals on offer, in order to save disappointment with having to pay high costs with other board deals.

Top Tip: Star Beach was excellent, catering for all ages. Also for those who like sports programmes, Crystel Pub was excellent with good prices, an outdoor pool and very comfortable lounge seating.
