“ the staff were very helpfull, couldnt do enough for us, quite a hill to climb when walking up to the hotel from the town. about 1 km to shops restaurants shops etc... i would consider it more of a 3star, air con in rooms wasnt great, you had to pay to use the room safe, the double bed was two single beds pushed together and were very hard.

“ We had a great time at king minos it was the second time for us and it was every bit as good if not better than the first. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome and nothing was to much for any of the staff. The hotel was kept clean to a very high standard and beds made every day. The food was excellent and varied.The entertainment during the day was low key and the atmospere was relaxed. The evening entertainment i.e.bbq night and the greek dancing night were brilliant with lots of laugh's and participation. We will go back again.

“ Top Tip: Just down the hill from king minos was every thing you'd want for all ages, clubs,bars,restaurants and amusements etc.

“ Excellent hotel with frendly and professional staff. The pool was lovely and the bar next to it was superb.
An unforgetable experience, indeed.

“ Top Tip: The town of Hersonissos is lovely.

“ Lovely hotel. Great swimming pool. Good buffet style breakfast and dinner. Recommend the Cretan village wine (E5 per carafe) with dinner. Staff charming and very helpful.

“ Top Tip: Hersonissus itself just a ribbon of shops for tourists but the villages about 1.5k above are much more interesting. Check out the aquarium which is largely full of 'rescue' creatures - including snakes, tortoises and a blind sea turtle.
