Kalyves Beach Hotel

“ Was very dissapointed with hotel, rooms very small, shower was a hand held contraption, was put in a room that overlooked the street which was very noisy day & night, food was nothing to write home about, we were half board, had breakfast one morning out of 7 and evening meal twice. Majority of the staff were miserable, hotel was clean, with rooms being cleaned daily, wouldnt stay here again, we love Kalives this was our 4th visit and have always gone SC, if we did return we wouldnt stay at the Kalives Beach Hotel.

“ Top Tip: You should try Il Forno along the beach, George & Stella are very good hosts, the food is really nice, and there is another taverna just as you come out of the hotel (Beach Side) they have a good menu, we ate there and it was lovely, and to just while away the evening go into the square and have a drink in the 1st little bar you come to on the left hand side.

“ very quiet area with few tavernas and few shops ...no animation or entertainment in hotel and only 1 bar so very little to do unless you have transport.food was repetetive and drinks were not included in evening meal .limited childrens meals.room was small and beds were pushed together...3 beds in a row was not good ..air conditioning was extra charge and this turned out to be a fan. room also had ant issue.pools were clean ..staff were very pleasant.

“ The hotel was lovely, well-situated and with freindly, helpful staff. It would have been useful to have some up-to-date bus timetables and information about local places to visit available.
