Aeolos Beach Hotel

“ Me and 5 other people stayed at the aeolos beach hotel, greece, malia, And i have to stay it was a lovely hotel. Great location, right on the beach. Lovely staff. Very helpful. But they are strict on secerity when people come back to there rooms at like 4 in the morning. But that isnt a bad thing at all.
I shared a room in the second block on the hotel with my boyfriend, and the room as decent. beds were clean, shower was clean, toilet was too. A lady came about three times in the week we were staying there. and they did a great job, even cleaned up some of the grusome things.
Breakfast at the hotel was perfectly enough. Its pretty much all you need. Ceral, yogurt, toast, ham, cheese, rolls, coffee, tea, water, jam. The basics.
Evening meal was a buffet style, there was different things to choose from each night. For example, salad, chicken, veg, pastrys, other kinds of meat. rolls. But it was nice food.
the swimming pool was great, big enough for the amount of people staying at the hotel. the were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. But you have to pay for the sunbeds on the beach. which was 15e each for the whole week. And that was with 30% off. so i would suggest not going on the beach if i was you.
there is a great selection of water sports that go on around the beach, my friends went on the 'Flyfish' on the last day of our holiday and they loved it.
i would definatly recommend this hotel to families, but as a group of friends that were more into the nightlife of malia, this isnt really the best hotel.

“ Top Tip: the nightlife in Malia is epic. It seriously, was crazy. The strip of clubs and bars in the shape of a Y you start at the bottom of the straight part then section off either side the the diagonal part to want to go. The further up the Y you go the crazier it gets.

“ aeolos beach was a beautiful hotel in a great location, wether you are looking for a quite holiday with family or a clubbing holiday at a perfect distance from the nightlife but quite enough to get some sleep. staff were very friendly and would defo stay here again.

“ Hotel was much better than we expected, there should be many more pictures of this hotel to show how nice the actual place is. The ladies behind the bar were very freindly and we liked them a lot and the beach was also very nice. its very near to the strip of bars and clubs in Malia but far enough away to not be disturbed by it, if you dont want to be!
the only negative things were that the sheets and towels were not changed once during our stay.
we went halfboard at the hotel, for dinner, we were never given an option on what we would like to eat, we would sit down for dinner and they would just come out with a dish - its a good job we wernt vegetairians and found it quite funny wondering what was in store for us the next night!!!!! Although i can see it being a huge problem for other people.
we were also never showed to our room and we had to find it ourselves in the dark. Also, some members of staff there did come across as a bit rude but we were not in the hotel very much so it didnt really bother us too much.
there is a sign at the front of the hotel saying 'free waterpark' - its not free at all!!!! we brought a couple of freinds back to the hotel and they were charged for using the pool and waterslides - the staff were also quite agressive the way they approached us over it as well.
overall, the hotel is really nice but more suitable for a family rather than a group of young people wanting a clubbing holiday.
Also, just be aware for the managment and dont go half-board or all inclusive!!!

“ Top Tip: theres no need to eat at the hotel as there are many resturantes within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which are very cheap.
the strip of clubs and bars is just a 5 min walk and there are also many resturants and shops there.
