Zoo Bar is just around the corner - fishbowls are amazing!
Also, downtown is good for cheap deals. 2 Drinks, fishbowl and 2 shots for 5 euros!

“ We had booked two rooms but when we arrived they told us we only had 1 and would have to wait till the following day till the lady receptionist was there because it was her fault , when she arrived she was very Nasty and told us we had to pay 470 euro or get out of the hotel ( her words ) it wasn't till we phoned traveltepublic that this got sorted the woman receptionist didn't appoligies and was Nasty for the rest of the holiday, avoid at all costs

“ Stayed here with all the girls 26th-3rd July!!! We all LOVED it!!! A great place for young people, as your a 2 minute walk to the strip, where all the best clubs are, and a 2 minute walk to the beach!!! We loved it, would defo recommend to anyone!!! The pool was great, really clean & such a sociable area!! The staff are really nice, esp bar staff, everyones so welcoming!!! Would defiantly go back!!

“ Great location-extremely close to main beaches and nightlife. Large, clean room with great cooking facilities. Unfortunately our ground floor patio doors were forced during the night which unsettled us. Hotel owners got security patrols set up round the hotel perimeter after 1am. Pool and area very nice but being open to public as well meant it got pretty hectic, but atmosphere was great.

“ I used it for a short stay after a late arrival at Heraklion Airport. The staff were very welcoming even late at night. As on a previous occasion the rooms were spotlessly clean and just as described. It was a good value stop over hotel . i did not use it but is on the direct bus route to the airport.

“ My partner and I enjoyed our stay, its was cheap and chearful hence the cost of the holiday. Staff were very helpful, rooms basic but clean, food repetative but you wouldn't starve and location was excellent.

Aegean sky is the place to be for those who enjoy living life to the full. The friendly staff will guarantee an enjoyable and lively holiday atmosphere. Our hotel is located in the centre of Malia. It is just off the beach road (strip) where all the bars, clubs, restaurants and shops can be found. The Old Village of Malia is a 5 minute walk where anyone can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine and music. The beach is at the end of the Malia Strip a 25 minute walk from our complex.

Real Palace is a beautiful, newly built hotel on the outskirts of Malia Old Village, all enclosed with traditionally built Greek walls. The views from this hotel are magnificent over looking both the mountains and the sea. The Bar area has its own terrace with comfortable chairs and tables for guests to relax in during the day or the night and large TV showing sports. Also there is an eating area where guests can sample the delights of the menu. The rooms are clean and spacious and have either 2 or 3 beds, kitchenette, bathroom and either balcony or terrace with views over the sea or the pool. The front of the hotel is terraced with a large swimming pool, Jacuzzi and fountain. Around the pool there are sun beds and sun umbrellas and plenty of lush green grass, for fun and games. The apartments are suitable for singles, couples and small groups of friends looking for good value accommodation in a quieter area of Malia but within walking distance of the lively bar and club area.
