“ We were not happy with our first room as it wasn't in the main hotel building and over looked a taverna kitchen. We asked to move to a better room. The hotel offered us a better room when one became available after 2 days. The hotel were happy to do this for us.
The staff were happy to tell us where was good to go and how to get to the bus stop etc.

“ Top Tip: A really good restaurant in the old town about 5 minutes walk from the hotel is The Lemon Tree Garden. We went 3 times.

“ Loved the hotel, couldn't fault the cleanliness, room was well thought out, shower a little temperamental but perfectly adequate. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and would put themselves out and go that extra mile if needed. There was a courtesy room with shower etc and individual lock ups for suitcases if you had evening flights, very useful. I only ate breakfast there and there was plenty of selection and again service was excellent. I would rate the hotel all round a 9, if I had to find something to complain about, it would be that perhaps they could do with new sun beds as the existing ones are not very comfortable and past their best. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others and return myself. Lovely hotel, lovely staff in a lovely position.

“ Top Tip: Best restaurant The Melody Garden, also worth a mention are The Lemon Tree and The Symposia. Good Cretan food at all with lovely friendly service.

“ A really great hotel. Very well placed near the harbour and fort and old town with rocks to fish and swim off just over the road. A 15 minute walk to the beach but this was not a problem as it was a pleasant shaded walk through the town.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and plenty of it. The swimming pool is rather small but it is shaded so my fair skinned sons could stay in it all day!
