Renovated in 2004, this hotel is located within a beautiful 3,000 me garden with evergreen trees as well as colourful flowers and is spread over two with 170 rooms. Many facilities including a foyer with a reception desk, 2 lifts and a currency exchange desk are on offer to guests. Additionally the hotel offers a small supermarket, a shop, 2 bars, a TV room, a restaurant, a conference room and a public Internet terminal. Guests are also offered a car park if needed.Offering a central location in Rethymnon, on the north coast of Crete, this hotel lies only around 150 m from the beach. The old town (around 10 minutes walk) and the coastal road offer a wide range of taverns, bars and restaurants. Links to the public transport network are located in the immediate vicinity (around 100 m away). Nearby airports are Chania (65 km away) and Heraklion (80 km away).The comfortable rooms come with a bathroom with hairdryer. Further fittings include a balcony, a direct dial telephone, a minibar and air conditioning. The standards rooms are situated in the hotel's old wing and are not renovated, while the superior rooms are renovated.The well-tended outdoor complex includes 2 swimming pools and a snack bar. Guests can try out tennis, table tennis, billiards/ snooker, darts, bocce and golf (on a course around 100 m away). Sports enthusiasts may make use of the gym and there is a massage service to help guests unwind. Various water sports are offer on the beach. An entertainment programme with Greek evenings, live music and dancing groups, a magic show, disco, beach and pool parties, games, piano music, bingo, wine tastings and presentations about Crete as well as 'Caretta Caretta' round off the offerings on this complex.From Heraklion Airport by car follow the signs to Rethymno. The hotel is situated on the main road when entering from Heraklion. There is a public bus from Heraklion which takes 2 h to reach Rethymno and if requested, the bus driver will stop 20 m away from the hotel. From Chania Airport by car its an hour away following the signs to Rethymno. Pass the town centre and the hotel is situated on the main road about 1km further. By bus to main bus terminal of Rethymno and then take the local bus or a taxi (the hotel is 3km from the bus terminal).

An excellent hotel room was large and spacy with spotless bathroom and bedroom with large veranda
Our room had fresh fruit Bottle of wine and water together with tea and coffee facilities
Staff was very helpful and friendly
breakfast excellent diner quite good with good variety suited mainlad european visitors
Close to bus route into town and only 3-4 minutes from beach

two excellent and friendly coffee and snack bars on beach front
Deus and Ori both staff made us comfortable and were most helpfull

“ Hotel was clean, staff very helpful and friendly, food was very good plenty of choice for everyone.my room was on the ground floor and was noisy at night and first thing in the morning (7.30am)so ask for a room higher up.

There are so many fantastice places to eat in the town which is a twenty minute walk away..I would not go to this hotel half board as the food is so much more interesting in the Tavernas and the hotel is not situated in the pretty centre and has very limited entertainment.
The staff are very helpful , the pools are fine though tend to get 'booked' early with towels left on the loungers!
Rethymnon is a very pretty bustling town, we had a very plaesant stay.
“ Top Tip: Some tavernas worth trying - Sokaki Lemon garden ( the one situated in a small back street, F. Portou 6 not the one with the same name in a busier street), Melody Garden 37 SoulioySt and Erofili which has a beautiful garden and is near the cathedral old town.

I thought this hotel was very clean and well presented. It classed itself as 4 star but I would consider it 3 star. The food at breakfast was good, the rooms were cleaned everyday and towels were also changed.
The entertainment at the hotel was limited,although we took part in quizes, the daytime programmme was not fully utilised and therefore if only a few people wanted water aerobics it was not put on due to the demand.
The bar staff were the best.

Top Tip:
There is a spar supermarket 2 minutes from the hotel. The beach is about 5-10 minutes.
There are some fantastic restaurants in the town but mainly not on the seafront my favorite was the lemon tree.

“ The rooms were very comfortable and they were cleaned every day to a high standard. Reception, cleaners, bar staff etc extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. The air conditioning was supposed to have been on for certain hours only but was available 24 hours presumably because it was very hot - a nice touch. A good selection of food for breakfast we didn't go all inclusive so don't know the standard of dinner. Hotel well located for local shops and restaurants there is a Spar just across the road. A 20-30 minute walk into town along the promenade but well worth it.
