“ We had a great time away and had private pool and walled garden, however we were unable to use any of the pools as they weren't heated! Staff were very friendly and standard of accommodation was great. The food was average for buffet dining but plenty of choice. No decent beaches close to the hotel so you need to hire a car to get to the better ones.
“ Top Tip: Car hire from the hotel reception area was very reasonable.

“ The Hotel was really good for the price. The food was brilliant and the room service spot less. There are just two thing I did not like: 1.Some of the staff are not very pleasant, they not rude or anything like it put they are not very friendly. 2. There is no free indoor swimming pool.
“ Top Tip: There is beautiful sandy beach 5km from Sissi in Malia.

Great Hotel, lovely staff. They can't do enough for you. The food was fantastic with a very varied choice at every meal time. The nearby fishing village of Sissi is very pretty and the bars overlooking the bay are excellent for relaxing and watching the world go by.
The Hotel, though lovely is definately not a 5 star hotel but this did not detract from the lovely setting and wonderful staff. I would return here but not in October as the weather was extremely changeable.
“ Top Tip: We changed our room on arrival to one on the sea front for a little extra charge but it was well worth it. The sunsets are amazing!

This was the first time that I had travelled to Crete and this hotel was far superior than I had envisaged. The resort of Sissi is a little bit off the beaten track and this is ideal if you really want to "get away from it all" - a perfect place to relax and chill.
My main pro's and con's are as follows:
1) Hotel was spotless. Bedroom was massive, with large modern bathroom. Towels changed daily and no issues if you wanted extra towels
2) Food - superb. Great choice at every meal time
3) The service from the restaurant staff is the best I have ever had in any resort. They were fantastic, friendly and they worked so well as a team. Always with a smile on their faces and they were always chatty and made you feel so special.
4) Great resort for families.
5) The amimation team were superb. They were all nice people. Again, in an evening they were always there to chat to and they even danced with you at the nightclub!! Something for everyone young or old.
6) All inclusive package great value for money. House wines were of good quality and there was no issue in have your glass refilled and refilled!!!
7) Get private taxi transers from the airport to the resort. The transfer bus took 90 minutes and dropping off in Crete is no mean feat. The small roads leading to hotels are small, the bus has to manouvre forward, reverse etc before finally getting to it's destination.
8) The orange juice at breakfast - dreadful
9) The toasters at breakfast do not toast in one rotation. If you like toasted toast then you need to put your bread in for at least 3 rotations in the toaster
10) During our holiday it rained for 2 days. Because of the layout of the hotel there is no cover or corridors between buildings. Having to run from our bedroom bock, past a slippy poolside, along a garden path, past another pool then into reception was not a great experience - however we travelled the second week of October so this kind of weather is expected

“ Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Neptuno Beach, hotel was clean and food and drink plentiful. There's not a lot in the way of entertainment or shops in Ammoudara but we were just happy chilling out. Reception area could do with being a little bigger with more seating as this was the main area that people converged during the evenings.

“ The accomadation was good as was the hotel staff,the food was super,a good selection of dishes ,decent coffee,decent drinks.the only downers for me was the lack of activities (due to animation troupe being cut down).The other downer was the beach,pool and tavern bars closing at 6pm leaving just one bar open ,i know its not high season but it is nice to sit out by the beach bar after 6pm .
