Irida Apartments

“ Was a great place to put your head on a nite, my husband and i booked self catering for a week on 27th sept, and it was great especially for the price we paid, i intended not to cook and eat out every nite(which was rather expensive) but we took plenty of money for that reason. I found the beds very hard and uncomfortable but apparently thats the norm over there, the beach and strip were very close about a 10 min slow stroll to the beach and shops and restaurants, we are going back to stalis next year but as we are taking 2 teenagers we will have to book elsewhere as Irida dont do all inclusive, but when its just me and the hubby we will go back to the Irida.

“ Top Tip: The irish bars do a good deal on the sunbeds on the beach, pay 3.50 euros for a cooked breakfast and get the sunbeds and umberella all day. Also dont book the excursions with the companys in the town are, there are public buses and very cheap,and they go everywhere.

“ The Appartments were large and clean with plenty of room, the owners were very helpfull and friendly and there dog is as daft as a brush and no danger to anyone as some people say, long walk to the main beach a good half hour stroll in the heat and walk back is up hill.
only had a couple of meals there but were very nice. nearest supermarket is about ten mins away

“ Top Tip: you can catch the happy land train into the resort if you do not want to walk (station about 100 metres away)

“ We had a lovely apartment with an upstairs bedroom and a little area outside with table and chairs. Kitchen had what we needed when we wanted to cook instead of eating out. Bar and pool area was clean and pleasant. We ate a few times at the complex, the food was a little bit more expensive than some of the tavernas but excellent. Overall a lovely little complex with simple self catering apartments and close to the tavernas and beach.

“ Top Tip: Yassas bar is a along the main beach road - well worth the small walk as the food is excellent and sunloungers and umbrellas are free for customers on their beach. Ask Roger(owner) about the Greek Night on a Friday which had fab real local food and entertainment.

“ Generally clean rooms but sandy floors.Kitchen adequately equipped but a cutting board and knife would have been useful. Walk down steep hill to beach and village so not suitable for mobility restricted guests. Basic but value for price charged.
