We returned home on Thursday 18 May 2012 after 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel. We loved it. We would recommend going now, forget the economic doom & gloom news!
The 120m infinity pool is amazing.
The view from the infinity pool over the ocean to the Turkish mountains on the horizon is outstanding. There are also 3 other pools.
The gardens and Olive trees are immaculately kept and there are colourful flowers everywhere.
Set into the clifftop there are lots of steps - 90 from the reception to the infinity pool and 42, with slopes inbetween, to the shore below.
The shore (beach!) is set out with loungers and it basically grit, stones, and rocks. We live in Bournemouth so are used to golden sands (but not such good weather)! It was 22/26 degrees for the whole fortnight with light breezes - perfect.
We were half board and the food was well presented and plentiful, with lots of choice. We were the only Brits in this hotel.
The staff were (mostly) very friendly and helpful.
Before you go, make sure that you are aware of what you have booked and paid for - A room with NO view, a partial seaview, a side seaview, a front seaview. All the rooms are a high standard with mostly kingsize beds. air con. etc. BUT the outlooks are dramatically different.
Also...check to see if there are any travel agent conventions being held in the hotel during your visit. These are free to the travel agents and do spoil the ambiance. We had 200 agents every day over a 10 day period.
We will go to this hotel again, and again, to a room with a front seaview and without the travel agents!
“ Top Tip: A 20 minute bus ride connects to KOS town. Good for day or night time visits. A very pretty town with shops, taverna's, nightclubs, and historic remains and a castle. A small wooden train takes you around KOS for your first introduction to the town. From the port there are day trips out to other islands and a ferry to Bodrum in Turkey. The EVA boat trip was great fun with a stop for an inclusive barbecue on one island.

“ The hotel was very clean and beautifully kept. The staff were very friendly. The location was very quiet and peaceful but there was nothing within walking distance which was the only drawback. There were regular buses into Kos town for 1.5 euros which took ten mins to get to town and they ran till 2 am! There was a welcome breeze/wind around the pool. The views were fabulous both at the infinity pool and from our balcony. The food at the hotel was varied and well prepared but it was good to get to town at least a couple of nights. Lack of lunchtime bar snacks - €4.50 for a basic toastie - bit steep?! All in all a very good hotel with high standards. Would definitely stay there again!
“ Top Tip: No, unfortunately!

I was amazed at the quality of this hotel. In was not disappointed in any way. The views are spectacular and the infinity pool is amazing.
The food was excellent but not enough choice for children, they should have a childrens corner. Also they could offer some sort of special promotion on cocktails, perhaps a coctail of the day. I was suprised there was no dress code for the evening in the restaurant, I would not expect to see men in shorts for dinner in a 5* hotel.
It is quite isolated and you need to travel to Kos town during the evening as there is no where to walk.
Would definitely go again.
“ Top Tip: No where near. Need to go to Kos town.

The hotel was lovely, a newly opened modern and very relaxing five star establishment with truly breathtaking views. The rooms are quite small (long and thin) but perfectly adequate, and the air conditioning worked and was a godsend!
When we arrived we were upgraded to a junior suite which was great (although hardly a junior suite by usual 5 star standards) and the reception staff were very courteous ad polite. As it's a new hotel there are some teething problems, particularly with levels of staffing, but I am sure they will be ironed out as time goes on. It may be worth noting that the cuisine is more geared towards German/Russian palate and during our entire time there we did not notice anything especially Greek on the menu either.

Top Tip:
It was very windy every day we were there (I'm told the wind is worse July/August - we were there in August) so not ideal for reading a book, but very welcome as when the wind died down a few times, it was very hot indeed.
The hotel is pretty much cut off and therefore very peaceful but 5 miles away is Kos Town with great bars and clubs, it cost Euro 12 each way by taxi to get there, and once there forget about credit cards, it's cash only virtually everywhere including the shops.
