Aquis Marine Resort and Waterpark

“ Just back from 1st holiday in Greece and enjoyed it immensely. All staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and spotless. All the food we ate was lovely and there were plently of options unless you are particularly fussy. The afternoon snacks were a bit limited! but providing you made it to breakfast or lunch the snacks dont really matter. As we arrived on the 1st day of the season there were only a handful of guests and our room was sea view - bonus. No queing for drinks or food or fighting for sun beds until later in the week when a number of big parties came! There was an initial problem with Wave Pool but we swam in sea anyway and if you walk further up or down the beaches they become more sandy. The only real negative was the adult evening entertainment. The children mini disco is well organised and popular but could be longer as once finished the french/german animation team try to act out mini sketches which were not funny and sometimes inappropriate but perhaps that was a cultural difference? A very hard working hotel trying to get as much right for guests as possible. Will recommend to friends!!

“ Top Tip: The local buses are good if a little erratic at times as they take different routes but as long as you check carefully you should be fine! Kos Town is lovely to walk around especially if you find the historic ruins and the 'lanes' with an arty feel.

“ My partner, daughter aged 11 and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aquis Marine hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed family suite which was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed..we couldn't have asked for more. The pools were fantastic although very cold. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach wasn't up to much but as found on another review we walked left of the private beach to find a lovely empty beach. I would recommend this hotel and will look to go back and sometime in the future.

“ The hotel and staff were very pleasant and helpful, although it did take us over 2 hours to check in, we arrived at the hotel at about 1.30pm we were asked to go into the restaurant for lunch as room wasn't quite ready. just over 2 hours later we were able to occupy the room.
We were allocated room 347.
The room was adequate and looked clean. As the week went on we noticed that the daily clean was in fact making the beds and emptying the waste bins only, and on one occassion the bed sheets were left at the bottom of the bed for us to make.
The bathroom - was to say the least OK with a less than adequate shower, also we had to ask to have the towels and bath mat changed, on one occassion I had to find the ladies who cleaned the room and ask if I could have a mop to clean the bathroom floor, although I will say that she did - all be it reluctantly - mop the floor for me. We did notice that other rooms had much better showers - maybe they are in the process of upgarding.
The food had a very limited choice but what was available was very good.

“ Aquis Waterpark is not an hotel as such, but more of a holiday village. It was immaculately clean, well looked after, and very pleasant. Accomodation is in self contained apartments that are well decorated, air conditioned and very comfortable. Friendly staff, good food, plenty of varity.
