First impressions upon arrival was lovely. The reception area is very modern, with spectacular views from its balcony.
Check in was swift efficient and we were taken to our room immediately to settle in.
Our room was in the main building, where we had a balcony overlooking the garden. It was quiet like we wanted.
Our room was very spacious, which was large enough to accomodate a small family. The rooms were spotless. Our chambermaid cleaned our rooms everyday and beds and bath towels were changed and made everyday. The only thing I would say is that the rooms do need modernising with some bright furnishings and there needs to be a few more English tv channels.
We stayed on a all inclusive basis and it was certainly well worth this. The range of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and if you were up late enough, late night supper (11.30pm - 12.30am) were all fantastic. The main restaurant served buffet meals, which were all well prepared and clean. The restaurant staff can be sometimes slow to serve you drinks but never caused any issues.
There are 4 restaurants - fish and Greek Taverna, which only serve lunch; Italian for dinner and French for dinner. The French is a la carte and is not part of the all inclusive package.
We ate at the Greek Taverna and the food was lovely. The only downfall is that it is outdoors adjacent to the beach and gardens, so the food attracted alot of insects including huge wasps and what appeared to be horseflies!
The hotel is on a private beachfront which was for us, one of the primary attractions for us. The beach is rather course and pebbley, but still a lovewly beach with plenty of sunloungers to sunbath on. Beach towels are provided by the hotel with a 20euros deposit (which is returned when you leave, provided no lost or damaged towels). These can be changed daily at the fitness centre.
The hotel has an impressive 12/13 pools, one of which is an indoor fresh water pool. All other pools are pure saltwater pumped in from the sea, which due to the heat, concentrates the pools immensely, so you can imagine how salty the pools are. They are however so many pools to swim in or laze by so its never a problem finding loungers near the pools.
There is a ice cream parlour in the hotel next to the Italian restaurant, with some amazing ice creams which are part of the all inclusive deal. Its a must!
There is a beach and pool bar which offers snacks and drinks which surprisingly included a number of international brands. Lots of cocktails to pick from too.
The hotel does have WiFi but only in the main reception area. They do have a computer room offering free internet access, but you will there all day trying to get a connection as it is very very slow. There is also a supermarket there offering all kinds of essentials that you need.
Overall our impressions and experience from our stay at this hotel were fantastic and we would highly recommend anyone planning to stay here. This hotel is ideal for couples and families wanting to enjoy a relaxed, laid back hotel with plenty of good food and drink. We would most definitely return here!

“ This hotel warrants the five star rating that it has, food, service, cleanliness and setting absolutely fantastic. There is no trouble getting a sun bed what ever time of day, due to the thirteen pools available in the grounds and a private beach. There was no queuing to get drinks or food as at lunch time there is a choice of three restaurants and a beach bar for snacks and in the evening a choice of four. In the evening there is a singer in the lobby bar six nights a week and once a week there is entertainment within the hotel, otherwise there is a show shared with the hotel next door (this is for family entertainment only!!).
“ Top Tip: When returning home on your departure flight remember to check in first and then instead of going through security and passport control wait back outside for a good hour, because once you go through it is like a very small cattle shed!

“ Very well laid out hotel, fantastic views. The room was fine, spacious but a little plain. The all inclusive concept is very well carried out here with various dining choices and all inclusive bars open until 1am. We were most impressed by the beach area where sunbeds, pedaloes and kayaks were available without charge, and a beach bar provided all inclusive drinks, again until 1am. Would certainly recommend it and would probably return.

“ Really good quality hotel, large rooms, very clean and well maintained. Lots of steps! - we counted 97 from our room to the pool near the beach. Many of the staff are not very friendly and the reception was useless. There were one or two really helpful waitresses and the porter gave us more information than anyone else. My partner got food poisoning on the first day and we are convinced it was something he ate in the main restaurant (that I didnt have). We reported it to the reception the following day and they said ok, very sorry and stood looking blankly at us! He recovered after 24 hours and the rest of the time we had no problems with the food but look out for luke warm left overs at the end of the meal time. The gym is full of broken equipment and its more of a sauna in August. Aside from that the setting is really lovely. We were outnumbered by Italians, which made for some very stylish people watching.
“
Top Tip:
Nothing close to the hotel, its really on its own. The trip to the neighbouring Island and volcano is a great day out.
The greek taverna is really nice for lunch (part of the hotel complex) but you have to book it early in the morning, 24 hours in advance. Great food, attentive staff and less hustle and bustle than the main restaurant.
