Not for me ! I'm glad I was only there for 3 nights-any longer and I would have seriously considered changing hotels. The hotel room was clean although very small and the bathroom was dingy and a bit smelly and in need of upgrading. The balcony was very small. Closet space was tiny. The continental breakfast was ok although I had a couple of rolls which were a bit stale. The first day we went to the pool. Poorly maintained flats and buildings overlook the pool on three sides. There were tables and chairs stacked up at the side of the pool. I put my handbag on one of the tables and the woman who ran the pool bar shouted to me that the "tables and chairs had just been cleaned" and asked me to remove my bag from the table. She also told someone else not to use the plastic loungers at the other side of the pool as "they had just been cleaned". There were only a few remaining loungers that could be used. The staff in the reception area were polite but no more than that. The hotel lacked a friendly atmosphere. I would not return to this hotel.

Check-in date:

The hotel was very clean in all areas, linen changed twice in 10 days, towels every 2 days. The bedrooms are basic but clean, reasonable size sleeping area with wardrobe, dressing table , bedside table and chair.
The bathroom is dated and the shower quite small but, again, was clean.
Breakfast was basic continental but adequate although it was a bit boring after 7 days. A toaster would have made a difference but the food availabe was always fresh.
We enjoyed the ten minute walk into the center of the town in the evenings although there were restaurants much closer if you don't want to walk.
The beach was a couple of minutes away .

Staff were friendly and helpful.

The only poor remark I have is the charge of air conditiong if you wanted it. This was 5 euros a night. Not many people took this option and the owner would have probably had more people using it if there was a weekly deal.

Top Tip: We hired bycyles and cycled to the beach at Lambi which was really lovely. Also try the restaurants in the side roads they are just as good if not better than some of the ones in the town and cheaper!

We found the breakfast staff a little unfriendly. The evening service at the bar could have been spiced up with a little more interest shown. The beds were quite simply the cheapest mattresses possible and extremely uncomfortable. Don't expect any support from the ultra thin pillows either. The food at breakfast was very simple and would definitely not have you crying out for more. All of that, given the price paid, was probably all that could be expected. Oh, and I've never been as close to my wife in years - that's when we got into the lift together. Very up close and personal when there's two of you in it.

Top Tip: None really. Very close to town and all the bars and restaurants to chose from. Some spiffing ice cream from the parlour just as you get to the town.

Helpful & freindly staff. Rooms a little on the small side. Decoration to bathroom dated. Pleasant enough breakfast but no variation throughout the week. Reception and breakfast are very nice.

The International Hotel is very good for its low-end price bracket. The rooms are simple but comfortable and they are cleaned daily. The family that runs the hotel are very helpful and while air conditioning is a charged at a rate of 35euros per week on top of the booking fee via Travel Republic, this seems to be the norm these days. The star of the show is probably the breakfast which is far superior to other hotels of a similar ilk that I have stayed in. Cereals, yoghurts, bread rolls/ham/cheese/etc are readily available.

Top Tip: There is a small private beach very close to the hotel.
