Matina Apartments

“ The Apatrments were very clean and well presented, providing all of the equipment needed. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful and ensured that our stay was a pleasant experience.

“ An Excellent complex, providing all your needs, with very friendly staff. You could stay on site, and not go off if you were so inclined to do so. Cleanliness was excellent with maids coming in almost every day.
Plenty to do in the Pefkos area, loads of bars and restaurants though we went into Lardos a lot and went to a back street bar called The Shallow End. This is a lovely little bar and a lot of the British living in the area frequent it. Christos the owner is a real character and is often found playing the guitar and singing, at which he is very good!
The restaurant in the hotel is nice, the Lee beach next door to the hotel is also good, and for a really nice special meal go the kymee restaurant which is linked to Lee Beach. The food is a bit more expensive than the average restaurant, but the quality is exceptional.
I would have no qualms in recommending the Matina and Pefkos to everyone.

“ The apartments are spacious however, although the maids come 6 times per week they do not clean, they make up the beds but that seems about it so you have to clean the bathroom ect yourself during the holiday. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool and bar area are excellent and the beach is very near by (minute walk) and you are very central for restaurants and bars. Think Pefkos is one of the nicest resorts in Rhodes and very well located for Lindos. I would definetly recommend the Matina which looked like one of the best self catering accomodations that we saw during our stay. The stay would have been rated excellent if there had been more evidence of the maids cleaning the apartment ie floor being swept and the bath being cleaned.
