Great hotel - fantastic value for money, lovely helpful staff, family run and great atmosphere. Short walk into Falaraki where there is everything you need - hotel itself is however very reasonably priced if you go self catering / B&B and dont want to go too far. Lovely pool and grounds. Rooms are basic but on the whole, for the price it is a fantastic base from which to explore Rhodes

We researched this hotel to ensure it was far away from Faliraki and quiet. What we read was that it was "on the outskirts of Faliraki with its own bars, cafes & shops, near to the beach, a quiet location, suitable for couples and families". All total lies!
It was nearly a mile walk to the nearest shop (1.5 miles to the nearest real food market AB), nearly a mile to the nearest restaurant or bar, a mile to the nearest bustop, 2 miles to the beach. All along a very fast motorway with almost no shade - quite a dangerous walk in scorching temperatures and no breeze. Taxis were too expensive to use. The hotel charging 1 euro for a bottle of water which cost 33 cents in AB.
For the first 10 nights of our 14 night stay we were woken between 5.30-6.30 am with young louts slamming doors, shouting down the corridors, gathering for parties in their rooms. Despite confronting them ourselves and the receptionist ordering them back to their own rooms & to be quiet, they would not stop the noise so it was often 8.30 am before we could sleep.
Then, at 9.30 am each day the pool bar switched on dance/rave music at full blast. This echoed over the whole complex and continued until 9.00 pm. When they were asked to turn down the volume so people could relax at the pool they were told: "If you don't like the music, leave the pool".
The notice on the door of the room stated "If complaints are received regarding your behaviour within your accommodation, either by other clients or accommodation owner, Olympic Holidays have the right to terminate your holiday, the owner has the right to evict your group without prior notice ...." When we pointed this out we were told only the rep could evict them. She served a 'written warning' only after 10 days of noise & they were due to leave then anyway. Our last 4 days were relatively quiet at nights but only because the noise has moved to other corridors. We did attempt to get moved out but would told we'd have to pay over 100 euros.
As far as self catering facilities were concerned, this consisted of (in the corner of the room): a sink, fridge, electric kettle, 2 electric rings. Two of each crockery, glasses, cutlery. 1 frying pan, 1 boiling pan, 1 spatular, 1 ladel.
Air conditioning cost 40 euros a week and the fidge fitted under the drainer ensured the sink area was always hot. Plus the room was carpetted making it even more hot & sticky indoors.
We talked to several unhappy families and couples who had each read the false information that the hotel was quiet with family facilities so, like ourselves, had been duped into making a booking and were desperate to move out.
This hotel caters strictly for 18-30s only & clients are generally what can only be described as British louts with zero respect for anyone.
If you are a family or couple do not go there or you will have a truly horrendous holiday experience.

Top Tip: Do not go to the Acoush Hotel unless you like non-stop dance/rave music and noise and no sleep!

A nice clean and comfortable hotel. The owners were very kind and generally, we didn't spend much time at the hotel. It was relatively quiet, but mainly a hotel for the younger crowd. The beach was quite a distance for the type of heat, so we did struggle for a few days and eventuallyu decided to cab it there and back everyday. (7 euros there and 5 euros back split between 4 girls) This Island in general is very expensive i.e. trip to Lindos we paid 4 euros for a coke! But, it was a beautiful Island. For the amouunt of time we spent at the hotel, I'd rather stay closer to the beach next time as the beach was lovely and far more better than the atmosphere at the hotel.

Top Tip: Day trip to Lindos was nice, but if you're planning to walk up the mountain to the top to see the Acropolis (like we did), warning, it's hard work! Have plenty of water, stop and start regularly as it was the most strenuous thing i've done in that sorta heat in a long time. (i'm meant to be a 25 yr old gym-goer) BUT, its a nice experience! Faliraki is quite expensive compared to say Turkey, but a beautiful Island with lovely people!
