“ THE HOTEL HAS GOOD SIZED ROOMS, NICE LAYOUT OF ACCOMMODATION, THOUGH YOU REALLY NEED TO BE FIT TO HANDLE STEPS AND WALKING DISTANCE ACROSS ENTIRE HOTEL COMPLEX.
ANIMATION TEAM NOT TOO PROFICIENT, COULD DO WITH MORE TRAINING FOR ACTIVITIES AND INTERACTION WITH GUESTS.
GOOD VARIETY OF FOOD BUFFETS TO SUIT ALL TASTES AND A VARIETY OF SNACKS AVAILABLE DURING THE DAY.
THE HOTEL IS A LITTLE OUT OF THE WAY, BUT A BUS IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO TAKE YOU TO THE BEACH EACH DAY, SHOULD YOU WISH.
OVERALL A GOOD VALUE HOLIDAY FOR AN ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL.

FROM THE SMALL HARBOUR YOU CAN ENJOY BOAT TRIPS TO FALIRAKI WATERPARK, LINDOS AND RHODES TOWN TO NAME BUT A FEW.
OF AN EVENING I WOULD RECOMMEND A VISIT TO THE BLISS BAR FOR THE BEST COCKTAILS IN TOWN....ALCOHOL FREE ONES IF YOU PREFER AND THE BEST SLUSH PUPPIES TO KEEP YOU COOOOOL ON A HOT SUNNY DAY.

“ Accommodation: Some older, some newer apartments. No A/C after end Sept. Generally good maid service, although (as usual with Greece) the used toilet roll bin does not seem to get emptied enough (uurggh!). The rooms are kept very clean indeed though, as is the whole complex - we didn't see one cockroach or other vermin in all our 11 days stay.

Food/restaurant: The food is generally very acceptable and although quite noticeably geared for the Germans, there were themed nights (e.g. Italian) that were quite good. The selection is extensive, however as it is all buffet style the 'hot' food is never piping hot...(in fact if you sit outside on the balcony for the evening meal, by the time you get back to your table the food can sometimes be decidedly cool). There is red and white wine on offer on tap which is basic table variety - just OK. Other free drinks like cocktails are OK.

Some particular things to note - there were a lot of fierce looking bees/wasps flying the perimeter of the balcony area at mealtimes. The staff put out scraps of food on an adjacent fence to try to keep them away from dinners and this works MOST of the time. Another thing we noticed was that there is a large chandelier above the main food buffet station which was in dire need of an extensive clean - it was caked in dust/grime and actually the only hygiene issue we noticed. Lastly, be clear that there are TWO dinner sittings with the first being 6.15pm to 7.45pm and while that sounds like a lot of time, if you get in late you may find yourself wolfing down your food a little too hurredly before you get kicked out!

Pool/activities: On first inspection the main pool area is fantastic, with a shallow 'beach' for small children, small waterfall features, a large area split by a picturesque bridge, a swim-up poolside bar and a jacuzzi. We used it extensively to be fair, however I will say that towards the end of our stay I did notice some areas at the bottom of the pool that had what appeared to be black mould spots. Probably nothing to worry about, but something that did concern me a bit.

There is another pool towards the reception area which is OK, but does not have the same vibe as the main pool and does not host the water activities. The activities provided include water gym, water polo, boules, volleyball, darts, table-tennis etc. In the evening there is a mini-disco for the kids and then some form of entertainment mostly from the hotels staff or touring troupe (e.g. Greek dancers). The entertainment is...passable and sometimes quite fun.

Staff: Generally very welcoming and positive. Particular thanks to the restuarant manager who was very helpful in ensuring we got an evening meal when our transfer/flight was delayed due to the (annoying) general strike.
