“ The room was basic but you get what you pay for. The beds were very comfy and has a good shower with plenty of hot water.The hotel is situated on top of a hill so if you don't like walking up and down a hill in hot weather there are taxis into the town.There is air con in most rooms but at a price 35 euro's a week. Thomas'as pub and mikes at the bottom of the hill are well worth a visit very friendly and food and drink at decent prices.If you don't want to be in the heart of falaraki and want a decent nights sleep then this is for you.

The beds were not the most comfortable in the world and we had to pay extra to upgrate to a room where we had air conditioning .

This is our 6th time in Hotel Maran and would highly recommend to anyone. The Hotel is family run and they cannot do enough for you.
The rooms are very basic and are cleaned 6 days a week. The position of the hotel is quite high on the hill overlooking Faliraki, it gets fairly hot there in summer and luckily being up on a hill you get a good breeze. It also has fantastic views. Its only a half hour walk to the beach and taxi's are also readily available.
The bar is great, fantastic cocktails! good company and good prices!
The hotel is quiet and away from the busy centre of faliraki. A perfect place for a holiday.

Our accommodation was basic but absolutely fine. It was what we expected for the price. The room was clean, had a nice pool view and had everything we required and the staff were pleasant. The only downside is it's location up a steep hill...not so great on a hot day if you're walking.
Faliraki was perfect for any amenties you might need and the beach was great for a swim and sunbathe.
All in all we loved the island and had a fantastic holiday - thank you!
