“ We were quite happy to be away from the hubbub. This hotel is fine if you are fit and able as it is up a hill. If not you will need to use taxis.

As most people have said, very friendly/helpful staff and the rooms are basic but well sized and mine had a fridge/freezer which is a must. Aircon charge at local rate (about 50 euro a week) also a must at the height of the season. Nice balcony with far reaching views over to the bay of Faliraki.
I was exploring the Island by car, so wanted a nice quiet base away from the main nightlife. The hotel was very quiet at night, away from busy roads and I wasn't woken up at all by anything! It is probably too far to walk into Faliraki central (although I know people do), but at the height of the season a walk to the hotel pool will bring you out in a nasty sweat! A taxi into Faliraki should be 6 euros, so if you're sharing that's not going to break the bank. I would definetly recommend this hotel if you don't want to be disturbed every night by the nightlife and it's close enough to town for you to enjoy all that is on offer there.
I did work in Faliraki in it's bad old days when it was a bit crazy. It has calmed down a bit since then and is definitely ok for families now.

Now it looks from the above that its no good at all, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Yes it is quite a way from the beach/centre of faliraki(20min walk but only 5min in a taxi), but the rooms and facilities are tremendous, especially for what we paid!
All rooms had a balcony, kitchenette and fridge, were clean and towels/linen changed twice in a week. (think it was tues and thurs)
There is a steep hill leading up to the hotel also.
Also a mention to Jimmy who runs the bar at night, one of the nicest, friendliest most helpful people i've met. He even got his mate to give us a lift some nights!
To sum up, if you want 3* accomodation, for a 1* price this is it, the money you save put towards taxi fares! Its well worth it.
“
Top Tip:
I used to work in faliraki and theres so much more than bar street. Restaurants go to either Mimakos or the Monastary (taxis for both, but from Panorama should only be bout 5euros) The view from either is fantastic, however its traditional Greek fare, you order starters and then choice of meat. But believe me, its well worth it.
Go to Georges bar for football and/or a late, late night drink!

Decent hotel/aprtments - nice and clean - view from the top floor room we had was great - overlooking Faliraki. Just a 20minute walk into town etc. Jimmy the bar man very friendly and good fun. The hill is quite steep but not too bad really. Pavement at bottom under construction so should be finished soon which wwould make it easier.
If you get this place on a good deal then i think its worth it.
If you hire a car anyway then the distance won't be a problem either. Faliraki looks like its seen better days and not really our cup of tea. Monolos restaurant was great.
