“ This hotel is away from the main centre of Faliraki and up a steep hill, a bus stop is right outside the hotel whereby you can make your way down during the day for 1 euro( up to 18.30pm) Taxis costs 7 euro,s to call but 5 euro,s to return from town. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and sincerely recommend it to all who wish to visit Faliraki without being right in the centre. The Hotel was occupied with all age groups and nationalities but, mainly English who visit year after year. We found the star rating of 3 star was just right, rooms and facilities were fine, only downside for us there was no bath but all in all we loved our stay. Pool and cafebar supplies all your needs, and in the late evenings the reception bar becomes like your local, open longer than you can take. You can walk down to the town(about 20 mins)but it is hard going coming back. If you like the traditional Greek village life just walk up hill after leaving hotel and you come to Kalithais, really nice village and the people are lovely, but again beware the uphill walk.
“
Top Tip:
No bars or restaurants within the hotel area. The Chinese and Sepps restaurants in town we recommend highly. Underground bar serves 2 for 1 drinks at 2.5 euro,s each.
Loads of disco bars about town but Faliraki is not what the name means any more, it,s more family orientated nowadays.

“
Last year my partner and me took our 2yr old daughter to rhodes town for two weeks, the beach was not suitable at all for her, so we traveled to falaraki beach by bus to complete our holiday expectations, this is why we choose a two week falaraki holiday this year, and didnt expect what would unfold at the Venezia, everybody that worked at this facility, where so friendly and helpfull (the cleaners/gardeners and all internal staff) being a Family run facility, they cater for all types of peoples needs, it seems to have a perfect balance for all, there food is out of this world, in both the pool bar and the resturant, there is an onsight swing park and a basket ball arena, in there lovely maintaned garden/olive groves, and a topps ballpit adjoined to the resturant, meaning you can enjoy your meals as your children play safely. There is both a child and adult pools with a safe child play area, in a perfect possition, so not to desturb child free adult guests. The rooms/studios and apartment are all beautafully maintained out and in doors.
To top the resort off, the family that run it, are so in touch with people and there needs, they work very hard, around the clock, to ensure people needs are met, they are the most friendly, nice people I have ever met, they do so much for there guests and even the hotel next door guests.
The Venezia is a good 20min walk down to the main strip/beach, or you can get the bus down for 1 euro from the bustop, situated 20mtr from the hotel reception doors. I would need another 2 x A4 sheets to detail all the positives of this resort, and will finish with, the best Holiday Ive ever had :)
“
Top Tip:
We went to the main strip a couple of times to eat, but the food was cheaper and better at the Venezia, the good thing about the main strip is, that it caters for all young night life needs, after about 10 at night, at starts to bounce with the night clubs.
Falaraki beach is fantastic for all and theres the anthony quinne beach, which a sea food resturant.

“ This Hotel is really family friendly. Theres always a welcome smile from the reception and they are always there to help out.The family who run it go out their way to help you. The rooms are cleaned everyday except Sundays. This is our third year at the Hotel Venezia Faliraki and it wont be the last as we are now planning to return again next year, thats how good it is. The Hotel this year has gone all inclusive which means the normal menu has shrunk a lot but there are other places to eat out. The pool bar does a wicked Full english breakfast and its really good. We would like to Thank Takis, Taz, Maria, Sam and everyone else there for yet another fab holiday and see you next year.
“ Top Tip: We hire a car so that we can travel round the Island and the best thing about that is that you find the little villages where no English is spoken!!! and if you try a little Greek it always helps. We went for Ice cream and the lady brought out a tub and on it was a strawberry and she said Aww but in Greek obviously.
