Ideally located on the west side of the island of Rhodes, 30 m. from the beach, only 5 minutes walking distance from the tourist / commercial centre of Rhodes town and from the Mandraki harbour, the Aquarium and the casino.
Accommodation
The hotel comprise of 81 spacious studios and 54 wide rooms, refurbished and nicely decorated. All studios and rooms are triples. The studios have a private bathroom with shower and WC, balcony, radio, direct dial telephone, kitchenette with all cooking-ware, fridge, toaster, kettle, and air conditioning/heating (payable locally). The rooms additionally have a fridge and satellite television. Half of the rooms and the studios facing to the sand & pebble beach, which is almost in front of the hotel.
Food & Beverage
There is a bar serving cool refreshments and various alcoholic drinks/ cocktails, as well as various snacks, pizzas, and main hot Greek dishes. There is a breakfast room with a rich buffet every day. For HB guests (lunch/dinner) the meals are offered by companys restaurant situated round 100m from the hotel. There is a choice of 2-3 kind of fresh and compose salads, 1-2 appetizers and 2-3 main courses (veal, chicken, pork, lamb, fish) and a choice of fruits or coffee.
Sports & Leisure
A wide variety of activities are available on the beach including, water skiing, jet skis, banana boat, pedals, canoes, wind surfing (certificate required) and rings. All available with local charge and weather permitting.

The facilities and services include reception hall, main lounge on the mezzanine with satellite television, billiards and playing card tables. Safe boxes are available.

The hotel is located near the beach, tourist and commercial centre of Rhodes town, Mandraki harbour, commercial harbour, aquarium, medieval town, Acropolis of Rhodes, Grand Master Palace, Modern Art Gallery, casino, and Ixia area-conferences halls. The hotel is located 13 km from Rhodes airport (RHO), therefore would take 17-20 min. in a taxi, and 45km from Lindos.

“ The Alexia doesn't have a pool which is reflected in the price and it doesn't offer entertainment. If you just want a basic hotel which is clean and comfortable, it's perfect-I've stayed there 7 times
“
Top Tip:
New Tastes restaurant at the bottom end of Mandilara-the food's homemade and the local people eat there.
To Ellenikon on Grivas where they go for a treat.

Alexia is and has been for many years a tired and dated looking hotel. That said the rooms are a good size, clean and functional and staff couldn't be much friendlier. If you're looking for decent budget accommodation close to the beach, town centre and nightlife (it's actually on the main bar street) then it's absolutely fine.
If you prefer a bit more luxury and a quiet neighbourhood it won't suit you at all.
“ Top Tip: Romeo's Garden in the Old Town is a great place to eat, good food and not expensive at all (Old Town is known for housing a few rip-off merchants!).
