“ the receptionists at the hotel were not very welcoming,and didnt seem to care much about us once they gave us our room card. we found our room, but the corridor and our room smelled badly of damp and mould, although the room was cleaned every day.the full English breakfast was a let down, with raw streaky bacon, sloppy eggs but with a hard yolk, and not a hint of any beans or tomatoes, the bread was hard,and it was very dissapointing.we never saw any salad or fresh fruit (apart from pieces of melon),in the whole 2 weeks. we could never get round the pool, because the nordic young people were putting beach towels on all the sun loungers for thier friends, who were coming straight from the all night discos, which didnt end until 5-30am, having breakfast, then spending he day on the louners. theall night music kept us awake, and so we had to spend most of the day catching up on sleep, missing all the things we wanted to do during the day. the special windows do not keep the noise out!
“ Top Tip: the harbour was only a 10 minute walk away, and the medieval old town is a must,you can walk round th castle walls, steeped in history.
