A lovely hotel in a great location. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and hard working. Special thanks to Georgios on Reception, very fast check in/out, very professional, friendly and polite and also to Voula who works the bar every day, always a friendly smile and great service. I was in room 633 which overlooked the pool and was on the top floor. Nice and fairly spacious, a double room with twin beds pushed together, a large built in wardrobe, several drawers, a small TV and an ensuite with a hand held shower which was actually great and a hair drier with a few toiletries. Very clean with a small balcony. The main pool isnt very big but there was always a sun bed free and again the area is kept very clean. There was a very small pool for children but the "hot tub/jacuzzi" was out of action. The restaurant was nice, good selection of food and again the staff were very attentive and friendly. The snacks offered during the day are also great, I used to grab a couple of cling wrapped rolls to take out with me or better still if you let them know by 9pm the night before they will arrange a "lunch box" for you!
My only criticism if any is that because the all the floors are tiled, you can hear other guests in the corridors as the sound echoed and I could hear the 2 lifts when they were being used but this is only being picky. I went at a quieter time of the season so didnt have to queue for food/drinks but would imagine in the busier periods you might have to and also sun beds might not be so available.
The beach is very close by (1 minute) but very stoney and breezey! Loads of shops, bars and restaurants and only a nice 10 min walk from the old town, so can't fault the location!
Would I go again to the Petite Palais - Absolutely!!
“ Top Tip: The old town is a must see! Several ways that you can walk to it, either following the promenade along the beach front or nip through some of the streets which is a bit quicker. If you enter the moat entrance, be warned, it is a fairly long walk (round the outside of very high fortress walls) because you cannot get out till you reach one of the far gate entrances and there are no toilets/cafes etc! Lindos is definitely worth a visit, very pretty but take good waking shoes as the cobbles can be quite slippy as is the walk up to the acropolis.

“ Great hotel, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. We had a couple of problems with the air conditioning but the reception had it fixed immediately on both occasions. The food was very good too. One small point to mention is that there is a shortage of seating but there is an outside area that is not being used in between the dining room and the outside bar!
“ Top Tip: The Tivoli bar was great value for money, Mike the bar owner is quite entertaining too! Turn left out of the hotel then take the right hand fork and its on the left side of a couple of hundred yards up the road.

“ This was our second stay at the Petit Mitsis and we were not disappointed. The staff work very hard and are friendly and approachable. In particular Voula the girl who serves in the bar during the day. She is lovely and nothing is too much trouble providing service with a smile. The guys who work the bar in the evenings work very hard. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. The food served was sufficient for our requirements although I would say that it was not as varied as last year. The restaurant manager will accommodate seating requirements for individual groups. The rooms were spacious, cleaned every day with fresh towels. The only draw back was the hair dryer. It was not very powerful and no use if you have anything other than short hair. Terrific location handy for night life when the hotel bar closes. Everything you need on the door step.

“ Hotel very noisy banging doors sounded like gunshots this happened during the night which would wake you up with a shock. You could also hear the sound of scraping furniture being moved about from the rooms above you. You have to wait in a line at meal times to be allocated a table, drinks have to be paid for after 11.30pm bar very small for Hotel. If you are lucky enough to get a room on the front they have nice big balconys on the back of the hotel small wooden balconys with a view of deralict properties. If you have a dissability beware as they have no access to toilets from the ground floor these can only be reached down a flight of stairs. Would not rate this as a four star hotel more a three star all in all very dissapointing.
