“ This is a lovely hotel set away from the main road and situated near a sand and stone beach. Rooms basic but very clean with towels and sheets changed every day. The hotel has a pool which is of good size and all kept clean with plenty of sunbeds. The All Inclusive was good value for money with fresh traditional Greek food and of good choice.the only down side was the drinks which were only available from 11.30am and stopped at 10pm. They consisted local beer and wine, various cocktails, soft drinks and tea and coffee. Tholos itself is a small village with only a few places to eat, drink. There are also a few supermarkets. Not much in the way of entertainment. So if you are looking for a quite, relaxing holiday it would be ideal but if you are looking for nightlife there is none.
“ Top Tip: Mikes restaurant was very good.

If you want peace and quiet at night then this hotel may not be for you as its very near to the busy airport but I must admit I did get used to it after a couple of nights, maybe the amount of vodka consumed and the cotten wool in my ears helped. The beach is very close by but its not one of Rhodes best beaches and you will need some beach shoes if you're venturing into the sea, which is very warm so that is a bonus.
Asterias is a small, very clean 2 storey hotel with adequate sized rooms and clean bedding and towels every day. The pool is lovely and clean too and a nice size.
The Greek food goes from being lovely one day to not so lovely the next, but having said that you can still eat the food on the not so lovely day and they do serve fries every meal. The hotel has mainly English guests which is another bonus as they do not provide any entertainment so at least you can get together and have a laugh. Its not really suitable for the younger generation but ok for everyone else.
“ Top Tip: Micks bar is close by which serves a full English breakfast and lovely steaks if you fancy a change from Greek food

Having read the reviews posted for this hotel we took the plunge and booked. On our arrival we thought what a great place. Two days later we were pulling our hair out, there is nothing but a pool, no entertainment just music playing from the bar.
The all inclusive package is not one I would recommend, breakfast was served from 7.30 to 9.30 everyday the choice was cornflakes in a bowl we thought was for the jam, juice made from powder, cold luncheon meat,, sliced processed cheese sliced tomato, boiled eggs, bread and jam this was everyday, for our entire stay we had bread and jam, in fact 2 days we did not go for breakfast, to save the pain of me listing the food if I said it was worse than the worst school dinner you might get some idea. The hotel policy on drinks was from 11.30 to 6.30 soft drinks beer wine, tea and coffee. Spirits only served after 6.30 this was fine for us but not everyones ideal when on holiday.
The hotel was clean in good repair and friendly, but air con is charged and this over a 2 week stay is a large lump of money. Overall we enjoyed our time in Rhodes but would not return to this hotel, its fine if you want to lay in the sun all day and talk to people all night but not our cup of tea.
“ Top Tip: Pick another village

“ First of all, the pictures on site are not of the hotel in Rhodos but in Cyprus. The beach is not nice, water is dirty. The food was poor and there was too many limitation on food or especially drinks. I did not feel welcome and my rate is very low.
