The apartment complex RHAPSODY consists of 18 independent two-room apartments furnished with the local traditional style.Every apartment offers a comfortable living area fully equipped kitchen separate bedroom with air conditioning and heating satellite tv and private balcony. The internal arrangements of the apartments on the southern wing of the complex is completely different.In the tradition of the island beds and couches are build in and set the absolute local atmosphere.The apartment's private balcony offers a panoramic view over the eastern flank of the island and the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. OUR VINEYARD.The vineyard is cultivated in the traditional way producing several local varieties of wine.The guests have the opportunity to learn about the vintage and the traditional cultivation if the vines.Also one can get acquainted with cultivation production of other local products such as; Santorini tomatoes white eggplant and fava.The Rhapsody apartments offer a truly different experience during which the guests combine present day life on the island with a taste of life ...

In short, Rhapsody is one of the best finds in 7 years of European travel...
We were looking for a cheap place to stay in Santorini and found the perfect place, provided you have the right expectations! George, our host (and owner), was brilliant from the moment that we arrived until driving us to the airport the day we left.
Now to explain what I mean by 'expectations'...
- Helpful, knowledgable host will to help you however he can? Check
- Free WiFi? Check
- Spotless apartments with fresh towels daily? Check
- Caldera view? No
- Beautiful, private balcony with uniterupted view down the East side of the island? Check
- Set on the outskirts of one of the most beautiful villages in the world, Imerovigli
- 2 minute walk to Caldera view to enjoy the stunning sunset, or 5 minute walk to Firostefani
- In-house catering? No
- Equipped for self-catering? Yes
- 3 minute walk to a supermarket
- Minutes walk from restaurants with mouthwatering menus in Firostefani and Imerovigli
- Swimming Pool? Not currently
- Why would you want a swimming pool when there's so many places to see?... And the beaches of Kamari and Perissa an easy bus-ride away at the South of the Island. That being said a pool is in the long-term plans.
All of this for less than pretty much all the resort-style accommodation on Santorini.

Top Tip:
When looking for a cheap and quality place to eat out try Anestis restaurant in Imerovigli. Great, traditional Greek food at a great price.
If you like walking, walk the Cliff path to Oia (8km/2.5hrs-ish) and get up to the Castle ruins to watch the sunset. Byo wine!
