Very well appointed,and the position in Fira was very good, close to everything.
The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble.
Room was adequate.
May have used dining in the hotel, but was very quiet, so lacked atmosphere, this will change no doubt, as the season progresses.

Top Tip:
Bus Station very close to hotel, not worth hiring a car.
Once you figure out where each bus goes, as numbers and destinations on the bus are not displayed, seems chaotic at first, guy with the tickets is the one too ask!!

“ A quiet calm oasis in the midst of the main town, Fira, only a few yards from the most spectacular view in the world! The hotel is very clean, the staff friendly, and you are very close to all the main bars and restaurants. The spa was excellent. The only gripe was the constant piped music in all main areas including the restaurant. Breakfast was an unusual cold savoury buffet spread more suited to lunch, but did also cater for conventional UK tastes. Largely flat, with a larger swimming pool than most other hotels, it is suitable for children and older people as many of the hotels in the area are clinging to the rock face with sheer drops so not ideal for small children or those with vertigo or finding difficulties with steps.

“ The location is excellent and the hotel is of a good standard. Our first room was a bit cramped and dark so we changed. All three rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“ We had a wonderful week at the Aressana Spa Hotel. The hotel is immaculate and located in a quiet area but only minutes away from shops and restaurants. The breakfast selection is first class and all the staff go out of their way to be helpful. There is no beach in the resort but the hotel swimming pool is very pleasant. We loved Santorini and the Aressana hotel and can't wait to return.
“ Top Tip: We tried a number of restaurants and can recommend Mama's House and the Naoussa Tavern for good food and service at reasonable prices. If you want a sea view while eating try the Archipelagos, more expensive but again good food and service.

“ Hotel Arressana was lovely, very relaxed with excellent service. All the staff were very helpful and professional and gave us very good information about local restaurants and sights. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony and the breakfasts were delicious. The pool area was very relaxing with plenty of sunbeds.
“ Top Tip: A lovely restaurant was Vanilia in Firostafini, it is quite expensive (but they all were in Fira) but the food was excellent and the setting was lovely. Nearly every restaurant has a terrace with beautiful views, however we were in Fira in May and it was cold in the evenings.
