This was our third short overnight here, used as a stepping stone from airport to the ferry network.
Good breakfast. Clean, but small pool.
This year the Astir will pick up/drop at airport/port, if you give them enough warning.

Nice and clean and is well located (about 5-10 mins walk to the restaurants and cafes).
The service could have been better - there were two women on reception, one was lovely but the other a bit sour!
Great pool area, and good breakfast. I'd recommend if you want a reasonable hotel in Fira without paying the earth. It is not a luxury place but is perfectly comfortable.
“ Top Tip: Ask for a room near the pool - away from the noisy road! Also the owners will pick you up at the port if you ask in advance.

This was the second time that we have stayed here and were very pleased. we use this place because it is convenient for Thira town, but far enough out to be quiet at nights (10mins), and easy to get to from the airport (12 Euro by Taxi) and the port (2E by local bus).
Although we only stay 1 night when island hopping, there is a nice clean pool and this would make a good base for a longer stay. There are stairs and it is not suitable for wheelchairs, but we can manage ok (age 70)
“ Top Tip: Beaches on Santorini are not good, but in Thira is an excellent place for Greek food called Nickolas (in most guide books) and not expensive.

Nicely positioned and quiet. Half a mile from the all night noise of the town centre.
Taxis can access directly, some hotels you must carry your bags through the podestrian only streets.

The rooms have an interesting history. The renovated building was called Canava in the old days, as the Kassimatis family used to produce wine there. Visitors can still taste the familys homemade wine, still produced with traditional methods without preservatives and well-acknowledged all over the island for its excellent taste.
