“ This Spa Hotel has outstanding views of the Caldera, lovely traditional-styled modern rooms all with a sea view. A very chilled out relaxing environment. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. On the downside - There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The Hotel Bar and Restaurant was closed as late October is the end of the holiday season. There are very few travellers on the island and most restaurants and resorts and attractions were closed.
Quite windy in October on the Caldera side so use of the hotel swimming pools and amazing terraces were not put to use. In warmer months the hotel location would be heavenly!. Good location if you have a car to travel the island and a few miles from the best beaches on the south side. Bus stop outside the hotel.
A lovely old Santorinia track opposite hotel for 5 minutes leads into the traditional white-washed village of Megalohori, otherwise you can walk along the main road to the village.
We didn't try the spa, but its location in the caves beneath the hotel is quite special. Worth checking the spa prices.

“ Top Tip: Check out the traditonal fish tavern in Megalohori if you want to eat somewhere with reasonable prices.
The Beach front in Perissa at the foot of the mountain was a lovely spot with a nice chilled out bar.
Wine Museum was good.
Harbour restaurants at the Bay of Amoundi are worth a visit - fantastic location.
Visit to Ancient Thera was incredible.
