It was further down the road then the map implied, so it is worth to get a taxi if you have heavy bags.
Also there was a dog that barked throughout the night, which was disruptive and cars tend to drive very fast past the hotel at all hours of the night.
“ Top Tip: the town of Fira is great to walk around, though if you have joint problems i would advise that it is either up or down so can be a bit tiring at times.

This is a lovely small hotel useful for independent travellers...we used this at the end of an island hopping trip and we really appreciated the small but lovely swimming pool.
The hotel is further away from the main square than described I think though.... but we enjoyed the exercise back up a bit of a hill!
The hotel room was bright and newly painted but the airconditioning unit was the worst we have come across on our travels.....nice and cold but no vents on it so the water dripped out all night.....the hotel had however put a good enough receptacle underneath for colecting the water.......this would spoil a longer stay though which would be a shame.
“ Top Tip: If you don't want to walk all the way back up the hill, the campsite around the corner from Villa Anemone hotel has a shop and cafe for emergency supplies!
