Guests are offered a number of modern facilities.This hotel is located in the village of Imerovigli, about 2 km from the town centre of Fira and around 10 km from the port of Athinios and the airport.Each of the individually furnished apartments, suites, and studios contains a bathroom with a pleasant ambience and a hairdryer. Other features include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette and individually regulated air conditioning.There is a swimming pool available for use in the hotel grounds alongside a poolside snack bar and a Jacuzzi.

We loved these apartments. We had a lovely studio apartment and patio plus a separate balcony overlooking the Caldera - great for enjoying a glass of wine at sunset! The views were magnificent and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful.
Be prepared for lots of steps though. This side of the island is set on the cliffs so wherever you go there are steps. I was prepared for steps but until you arrive with your suitcase you have no idea! The pool is also down several flights of steps. It all adds to the charm of Sunny Villas and the views make it all worthwhile.
“ Top Tip: There are about five nice restaurants within walking distance. All nice but pricey compared to the beach areas which have more competition. There is an hourly bus to Oia but avoid late afternoon when the cruise ships come in. It is like a herd of cattle. We found a lovely rooftop restaurant to escape the crowds.

Great location for a relaxing and quiet breaqk with a handful of restuarants nearby. Main twon only a 25 minute walk away for a more lively nightout.
Due to the gradient of the hotel steps and surrounding area, this would not be s uitable location for elderly, young families or infirm (or very unfit!).

Top Tip:
Imerovigli was the best local restaurant for best price/value for money
Fira was the best town for top end places to eat and drink but prices were as high , if not more, than London
A very good local supermarket with very reasonable prices - example - 6 x 1.5lt bottles of water for 2 euros
