Aegean Plaza Hotel

“ Hotel was fine but the dining room was not able to cope with so many people at breakfast. Many times there was no cutlery and people were queueing waiting for cups for tea and coffee. The breakfasts were always the same, not much variety. The evening meal was a little more varied but never very hot. We did find the dining room staff very pleasant and helpful although they were under tremendous pressure.

“ Hotel top class except for the food, not up to 4star standard, really I have had better food at hotels with no stars. Staff very good, very clean and tidy. I would only go again if it was on a bed only basis.

“ Very friendly and helpful reception staff, rooms were spotless with fresh towels each day we stayed B&B, breakfast consisted of toast cereal bacon eggs sweet pastries and of course the usual cold meats and cheese not to forget yogurt.

“ The hotel is rated 4 star but it's definately not. It's clean and friendly but overly priced for the accomodation provided. I have stayed in more luxurious 3 star accomodation in Greece. The beds were probably the most uncomfotable I have ever had the misfortune to lay apon. The 'gym' was some decaying home equipment in a small basement room with no windows or air conditioning. We were originally placed in a room across the road from the main hotel which was extremely small with no natural light, a tiny shower room and no outside space. We were moved to a bigger room on speaking to the management although a some times of the day it smelled of drains.
