“ Hotel was 10-15mins walk from beach along rough unlit roads with no footpath most of way. Staff not welcoming and sometimes rude. Food very poor quality and choice-we had breakfast only thankfully. Reception frequently smelled of smoke as staff were smoking at desk. Rooms small. Bed lumpy. We booked rm with dbl bed and were given 2 singles pushed together. Given dbl on request but felt was only by chance they had one available. Bathroom v cramped and in need of refurbishment. Floor constantly wet as shower tap hard to turn off completely and no shower curtain, just tray. Toilet flush often got stuck on for ages. Shower head wall hook broken.TV so high on wall bracket would have to stand bed to see it. V small balcony. Directly under flight path.
Good points: My partner enjoyed watching the planes. Air con worked well. Hot water whenever needed. Fresh linen every day even if towels felt like sandpaper and only 1 towel per person. Whole complex kept clean. Good safe deposit box system for reasonable charge. Reception open 24hrs. Pool deep enough and long enough to swim in, looked clean BUT not enough chlorine as I got horrendous ear infection after swimming in it.

“ Top Tip: Rent a quad from Damaskinos Markos nr bus stop-good fun!. But NOT from Sergiani closer to hotel as his were more expensive and badly maintained. Jet skiing on beach was fun and quite reasonable. Bus to Thira and Oia (very pretty, wonderful views of the Caldera) cheap and reliable -worth taking if not hiring quad or car but bus v over crowded near sunset times. Beware-Archaeology site at Akrotiri closed! Beaches are v pebbly-bring water sport shoes. kamari beach strip much nicer than Perissa.

“ perfectly fine place for an overnight, as we did, or for longer. A good price for the quality of the rooms and clean and tidy. Quite far from town by foot but we just went to the restaurant down the road so it didn't matter to us.

“ Top Tip: the local restaurant is fine for basic greek food.

“ for the price we paid, the place was excellent. staff were friendly, room was clean, the tv stopped working but as soon as i told reception they came upstairs with a new one...cant complain at all. they even let us check-in at 8am the day we arrived without any extra charge!

“ Top Tip: lots of nice restaurants / cafes etc, but lolos was exceptionally good value for money and good service also. not on the beach though. found many nicer places in Oia and Fira.
