Atlas Group Hotel

“ I expected to get the room with the balcony or at least window with a street view. But it was a basement like loophole. It was ok as we came home just to sleep.

There was no receptionist , so we suppose to look for help in local travel agency to find the person responsible for the hotel when the kay got broken.
But the room was attended every day, new towels ect, loved that.

In Travel republic booking form hotel name was different ( apparently the name was for the company that owns the goup of hotels) so we spend an hour and a half finding out that real name was Atlantida ...

We paid £116 for 7 days... Next time i will do some more research or invest more money in hotel.

“ Top Tip: 1.If you get here request the room on the 1st or 2nd floor , during the night you cant leave windows opened...
2.If you catch the taxi to airport it will be 12 euro . if you call it will cost 15

4. Best beaches are in Perivola, Kamari beach Sux
5. Best bar Tropical in capital Fira, come friday/saturday after 11pm

“ The Hotel was clean and very basic. The room was part of a two bedroom Apartment therefore the bedroom (and en-suite) was only big enough for a double bed (or 2 singles in this case) there was little or no room to do anything other than get dressed. The booking says the room is 2-3 occupancy. It would have been impossible to get a third person in the room regardless of size. As this was part of an apartment there was a kitchen/diner room within the floorplan but this was locked. This room could not have been rented out, therefore would have made a big difference if it was available for basic ammenities... but it wasn't. The cleaning was carried out at 8am every morning (we were meant to be on holiday) regardless of occupancy. Obvioulsy we were always still in the room and the cleaner knocked on the door every 15 mins until we got fed up and left! Also, There was no Iron/Board available for use. I don't know enyone who can pack a case without creasing clothes?

With regards to the Airport/flight.... We flew from the North Terminal at Gatwick. The email confirmation said collect tickets from Flight agent desk in terminal. We flew Thompson, however as tickets were via Avro Cosmos we were told by Thompson desk that the tickets were at their desk in the SOUTH Terminal!!! this was not acceptable, the Monorail was closed (we wondered why you sent that email) and we had to get a bus to collect the tickets. This meant we were last to check in and could not get seats together, It meant the trip was disappointing and not a good way to start the holiday. When i collected the tickets i asked why they had not been transfered to the North terminal and was told that Avro Cosmos has not had a desk in the North Terminal for many years. There were 3 girls sat there doing nothing (it was 6am) it wouldn't have take much effort to arrange this and would have made the holiday more enjoyable. I will tick the yes box below (recommendation) only because of your easy site and competative prices, However customer service (your associates) and coordination or information needs to improve tremendously.

The Groove Inn (Andy & Liz) was very friendly.
The Prince Restaurant (Adjacent Dolphins reastaurant on sea front) was good value and served well prepared meals.

“ Very clean but a little too small and basic. Very noisey cleaner at 8am in the morning!!!
