“ The Hotel was in its first week of a re generation as well as being very early in their season; while our Room was acceptable, we did not get the Room that we had requested ie Sea view - not because one was not available at that time but because the accomodation had misrepresented facilities since there are no sea views from this Hotel !! - another example of unreadiness/misrepresentation is a booking made by my son and his party for a junior suite with jaccuzzi, requiring significantly higher price than the standard Room, but the party were told on arrival that the facility was not available and a bottle of wine was proferred instead. Not acceptable. Also the spa facility while clean, tidy, friendly is expensive and not yet quite up and running. All that sounds negative - there are many positives - the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Rachel at the pool, manning the pool bar (while you can get a drink at the restaurant, the pool bar is currently the only bar in the Hotel.....closes at 6 oclock) the food is acceptable, and its in a great location.

“ Top Tip: The Hook Bar proved a favourite (hit the beach and turn right towards the rocks to find it); all the eateries along the beachfront are acceptable, but be prepared for friendly banter from the bars staffs as they try to encourage your patronage. The Poseidon folk were very friendly and impressed us - the food was as good as anywhere else but given Greece's position, everything is expensive.

“ I wish to raise a complaint with Travel Republic about our hotel. We were bitterly dissapointed with our room. We had booked a 'Triple' room and were disgusted to find out on arrival that we had no balcony or outside area. This did not match the discription of our room on the hotel's website which said .. 'ALL triple rooms come with a balcony or terrace area'. We asked to change rooms but were told that the hotel was fully booked. I feel that their website was a mis-representation and i dont see how we were allowed to be given a room with no balcony after the rooms description on their website. This meant that we had to hang our wet swimming things around the room which made the room seem cramped and like a laundrette and was not a nice experience for our holiday especially as we had our 2 year old boy with us. Even though the hotel facilities and staff were nice and the hotel had a great location , our bad experience with our room means that i would be unlikely to ever go back. I would like for Travel republic to investigate our complaint about our room as their was definitely some false advertising going on. If I had known that we would not get a balcony, I would never have booked this particular hotel.

“ Top Tip: in hotel bar was best and tasty ice creem in all Kamari,what is it interesting it was cheapest one.

“ we stayed at the Venus Spa on the 10th May to the 17th May. The first 2 days the weather was very windy but the rest of the week the weather was beautiful. I would Highly recommend this hotel. We had a room overlooking the pool really good, we have stayed in Greece before but this was by far the best hotel we have had in Greece excellent value for money. The staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble we will certainly go back again. Marilyn and Pete
