Finikia Place Hotel was a super place to stay and in a good position to walk into Oia. Also with the bus stop virtually outside the hotel, we were able to travel cheaply to see the rest of the island. We stayed half board as restaurants in Oia can be expensive. Although we had no menu choice, the food was superb and I've come home with some great ideas for pasta and salads.
The staff were vey helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely view of the caldera and coatal walk into Oia a few hundred yards (and steps!) from hotel.
Lively taverna down the road.
Oia is the most awe inspiring place. Other parts of the island are also lovely but Oia was my favourite. However in high season, I would avoid it as it is probably too crowded.

“ This is a simple but very clean accommodation with one of the best restaurants on the island. It has a lovely peaceful pool area. Restaurant staff are very nice and clean towels are provided every day in the rooms. A car is required as there is no transport into Oia provided by the accommodation and the local buses are hit and miss. I would recommend this hotels for couples and for people without mobility problems as there are steps to most of the accommodation.
“ Top Tip: Try the back streets of Oia for the best value restaurants although Lotza and the Red Bicycle in Oia has a lovely view.

“ Top Tip: WALK UP TO THE CHURCH ACROSS THE ROAD TO SEE A BETTER SUNSET THAN FROM OIA. HOTEL FOOD WAS THE BEST WE FOUND!!! DO THE VOLCANO CRUISE
