Plessas Palace Hotel

“ This is the second time I've stayed here this year. The place is brilliant for what you pay. Rooms modern & clean, breakfast very substantial, pool and public areas all well maintained. very well run by Nicos and his family.

“ Top Tip: Walk or get a carriage to the next village - Alykes. Have a meal in Pondalosa, fantastic Greek family restaurant, very reasonable.

“ Stayed here many times previously, Plessas is always clean, the rooms have recently been upgraded and are of a very good standard. The negative issues are that plessas is a 15 minute walk from the beach and the beds around the pool are hard plastic and impossible to spend any time on.

“ Top Tip: Excellent bar - Catacombes in the centre of the village.

“ Very good staff, we received warm welcome, Mr. Nikolas took us upstairs to show rooms/studios. Studios were equipped with crockery, microwave/oven, two hot plates. I believe all the rooms are either facing mountains/green spaces or garden/swimming pool.

There is a small store within hotel which sells items of daily use at very reasonable prices including bread, butter, cheese, tomato, cucumber, juices, milk.

Hotel is within 10 to 15 minutes walk of nearest beach and 5 to 10 minutes walk of high street having all the shops, restaurants, tourist shops selling day trip coach and boat tours, super stores, clothing shops.

Only bit different thing is if you are on bed and breakfast package they will charge you Euro 4 per day for using Fridge it was ok for us considering discounted price they give through wholesale websites, if you are on room only deal then fridge is free to use. they also charge for using aircon.

Swimming pools are very clean and well maintained. Hotel rooms are newly refurbished and in good condition though bath rooms are small with cubicle shower.

Balconies are good to enjoy outside view and have some fresh air.

“ Top Tip: There is a day trip tour shop on the main high street (not the one near hotel) selling very good priced day trips. Very good souvenir shops on high street.

“ Good hotel for a wide range of ages. Rooms in goog condition. Beds comfartable. Furniture of good standard. Bathrooms in excellent condition. Breakfast is excellent value as we booked B & B. Croissants, ham, eggs, cheese, toast & jam, cereals, fruit juice, cofee & tea. best of all you help yourself so you can really fill up. Pool in good condition, clean, excellent views of the mountains. Background music around the pool ata reasonable level that doesn't stop that afternoon snooze. The family who own and run it really try hard to please. This is the second time I've been and I'll be back.

“ Top Tip: Busters bar for a lively drink. The smaller basic takeaways sell Giros - a chicken or pork kebab for less than 2 euros.
