The room and facilities were clean, but some of the light fittings didn't work. despite mentioning this to the manager, nothing was done.
The continental breakfast was very poor, with one meat offered which was like spam, no cheese, the 'butter' was vegetable margarine, the jam was poor quality, the orange juice tasted straneg and the coffee was awful. Everything else was an extra to be paid for, such as a piece of toast. the full english breakfast was also an extra. we don't eat full a english breakfast and would have been happy with a reasonable continental breakfast. It would have been worth paying a little more to get a reasonable breakfast.
We will not use this hotel again because the service was poor.

Top Tip:
Try the Sunset for great food especially the sea bass.
Would also recommend The Island and Kostas. All on the Kalamaki Road.
Walk along the beach to Greek Islands for good food and plate smashing.
Try the turtle trip - we saw four!

This hotel has a good location on the road from Kalamaki in to Laganas, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the lively town and beach. Many bars, tavernas, restaurants, clubs and shops are nearby. The airport and main town of Zakynthos are a 10-15 minute drive away. Rooms are basic but well kept and medium in size. All have air conditioning which is payable direct to the hotel. This is a lowrise white building in traditional style with the swimming pool out the front. This property offers great value for money and has fairly good facilities. A friendly and efficient service is offered at all times. (09/08 EP) © Donvand Limited 2012
“ The hotel was nice and comfortable, just in front of the bus stop to Zante, my room was nice in the first floor with balcony and clean, staff kind and helpful, good size swimming pool. The only prob for family could be a bar which is open till late with high volume music so difficult to sleep.

The Sunflower Apartments are located in Laganas, a quiet area of the famous greek island Zakynthos. They are located in the countryside, and it is not far away from the centre of Laganas and its beautiful beach. The peaceful setting is ideal for families and couples who want a resort in order to relax and also amuse themselves.
“ Sunflower was a great hotel, about 4 minutes walk from the main strip but it was all very tranquil around the hotel, the staff were very friendly and after a little confusion with the room (they put us in a twin when we had booked a double) they moved us around and we were very happy.

This is a terrific complex for couples and families situated 2 km from an endless golden sandy beach and warm, shallow waters that are ideal for children. Guests to the Angeliki Studios can discover marvellous beaches and fishing villages and visit lots of shops, bars, and restaurants in the centre of the resort. Zakynthos Airport is 6km from the complex. Local Tips: Nearby is boat trip to visit the Keri Caves and the turtle beach of Marathonisi.
