Rooms are basic but well kept and medium in size. All have air conditioning which is payable direct to the hotel.
There is a tex-mex restaurant and bar offering a variety of American and Mexican dishes. Films are screened in the bar and evenings of live music also feature on the entertainment program.
This is a lowrise white building in traditional style with the swimming pool out the front.
This property offers great value for money and has fairly good facilities. A friendly and efficient service is offered at all times. (09/08 EP)

“ The hotel was nice and comfortable, just in front of the bus stop to Zante, my room was nice in the first floor with balcony and clean, staff kind and helpful, good size swimming pool. The only prob for family could be a bar which is open till late with high volume music so difficult to sleep.

“ Poor. The worst hotel i have ever stayed in. After being delayed in Manchester for 14 hours i finally made it to the hotel to find that the hotel had tried to sell my room resulting in me waiting for 2 hours in reception while they found me a new room. When i recieved my room i found it to be dirty, the bath was rusty and the toilet was not clean. little information was provided to me about the hotel and my best day of the holiday was when i checked out.

“ Very good for the price paid. Most of the staff were friendly though one was sarcastic and unhelpful. The pool was as good as I expected. I have no real complaints about the room.
“ Top Tip: The Vanilla restaurant is probably the restaurant that serves the best food. Most of the others give small badly cooked portions hidden behind too-good-to-be-true deals. Also the best club on the strip is zeros.

“ Lovely hotel staff, clean hotel, bar/restaurant food excellent, breakfast that is included in the price of room was poor. Location not too noisy as at the end of road. Pool lovely.

“ I went away with 14 friends and we stayed between 3 Hotels. The ikaros like all the other hotels (barring the 5* one down the road) is cheap and does the job. As with all previous reviews: Breakfast - dont even bother, Pool- Ok plenty of girls and its pretty clean, Bar- cheaper for food than most places around but its £3 for a pint of coke so just use the supermarkets around, you must pay for airconditioning otherwise say goodbye to £100 if they find out your stealing it. The maid comes in to "wash" the floor with a dirty mop at 8AM every day to see if you have any unpaid guests - if you get caught youll pay anything from £15 to £80 for that one night of fun, the night security all carry baseball bats but its the same everywhere and if you even mark a towel or linen expect to pay a £20 cleaning /replacement fee. The rules are harsh just like everywher else but if you play by the rules and have your "fun" on the beach youll be fine .
“ Top Tip: Buy air conditioning its only £30 for a week!! Also Georges supermarket does baguettes with loads of filling and are by far the best in Laganas - I know i went to every supermarket while i was there looking for some stamps!!
