Poseidon Beach Hotel

“ Very good place to stop, everything you need is there, Good food, pleasant surroundings, wonderful people, the staff were very polite and helpful at all times, all in all this has been one of the best places we have stayed at in Lagana and we have been we have been holidaying here for 16 years, A1 can't fault anything will be returning next year to the Poseidon.

“ Top Tip: Places to eat we recommend No1 The Akropolis, / No2 The toad in the hole / No3 Panas all good food. Good Pubs The Captain Morgan and the Fishery Inn.

“ WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS HOTEL. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND THE PUBLIC AREAS WERE KEPT CLEAN AND TIDY. THE ROOMS WERE FRESH AND BRIGHT AND CLEANED EVERY DAY BY THE MAID. THE BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. OUR BALCONY HAD A GREAT VIEW OF THE POOL. THE POOL WAS KEPT SPOTLESSLY CLEAN ALTHOUGH THE SHALLOW END WAS NOT VERY LARGE FOR NON-SWIMMERS. THERE WAS ALWAYS ENOUGH SUN LOUNGERS AROUND THE POOL, AS MANY GUESTS USED THE LOUNGERS AVAILABLE ON THE GARDEN LEADING TO THE BEACH AND ON THE BEACH ITSELF, BUT ONLY THE POOL LOUNGERS WERE FREE OF CHARGE. THE HOTEL WAS QUIET AND RELAXING EVEN THOUGH THE STRIP WAS ONLY A SLOW 5 MINUTE WALK AWAY. THERE WAS A GOOD CHOICE OF FOOD FOR BREAKFAST, BOTH FULL ENGLISH AND CONTINENTAL, AND IT WAS TO A GOOD STANDARD. THERE WERE FEW CHILDREN AT THE HOTEL AS IT WAS LATE SEPTEMBER BUT THERE WERE GUESTS OF ALL AGES, AS COUPLES, FAMILIES AND GROUPS. WE DIDN'T HEAR A SINGLE COMPLAINT WHILE WE WERE THERE. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE POSEIDON BEACH HOTEL.

“ Top Tip: TURN LEFT OUT OF THE HOTEL AND WALK TOWARDS THE STRIP. ON THE LEFT JUST BEFORE THE STRIP IS THE COUNTRY RESTAURANT. NOT A VERY GREEK SOUNDING NAME BUT IT IS AUTHENTIC GREEK. A LOVELY WARM WELCOME AND ATTENTIVE SERVICE. PRICED WERE VERY REASONABLE AND THE FOOD WAS PLENTIFUL AND DELICIOUS. WE WERE OFFERRED FREE GARLIC BREAD STARTER AND A FREE DRINK BEFORE LEAVING. THE FREE DRINK WASN'T THE USUAL CHEAP SHOT OF COLOURED LIQUID BUT A GLASS OF PROPER SPIRIT. WE ALWAYS CHOSE BAILEY'S AND IT WAS THE GENUINE ARTICLE.

“ We had a fabulous stay, the breakfast far surpassed our expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and well cared for. The room cleaners were very good, clean sheets every other day and clean towels every day. The location is excellent and the grass area with sunbeds between the hotel and beach was an added bonus. All in all a fabulous place to stay.

“ Top Tip: All beach resteraunts were great. Caballieros bar is especially romantic for cocktails by candlelight sitting on the beach

“ Execelent location, could see sea from bedroom. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Hotel is kept very clean and is very impressive to view especially at night when lit up. Food is of a high standard and less expensive than Restaurants in the area.
Would definately stay at this Hotel again.

“ Top Tip: All Restaurants we visited offered a huge selection of food. Be careful of discounts offered as not always reflected on the bill.
