quiet hotel - we have been 3 times now and there is only a handful of people there each time- which we like- long walk into laganas - at least half an hour- which we do not mind- except when it is exceptionally hot
bathroom floods when showering
owners lovely
supermarket just up the road
basic greek accommodation but exceptional value for money
“ Top Tip: robin hood restaurant- good house white and ask about a seafood platter for two only 9 euros each also the fahani restaurant just off strip - good steaks but ghastly house white

-hotel is much to close to main road
-too far from Laganas city centre
-because it was self catering it's should be some kitchen things to prepare your food for exmp frying pan; so when we asked them (hotel owners) about it they just say we should go to restaurant!; other hotel guests did not have frying pan too
-owner dog was barking all nights!

-it is much too far from beach and city centre
-without motorbike or car it takes ages to walk there!

The owners were pleasant and I guess the financial state of Greece had a major effect generally
Some guests had to go and buy their own toilet paper as non was available
The "restaurant " was more of a snack bar
The room only saw the cleaner once with no bedding change in the week
Very few untensils so using the "kitchen" was very limited and there were no restaurants within half a mile
The hotel wa also on a busy main road withlots of traffic noise during the day

Definitely not a 3* hotel, very basic but you get what you pay for. The owners were friendly enough and helpful with booking taxis. Avoid the food from the bar at the hotel!
Good thing about the hotel was it was far enough away from the stip to mean that it was reasonably quiet at night, apart from the owners dog which barked quite a lot!
It was a €6 taxi to Laganas and €10 to Zante Town.
If your looking for a cheap hotel and don't mind being a little distance from the action then it is definitely worth considering.

Very clean and Tidy, nothing too much trouble owners, very freindly family owned. Good size pool area, but pool area fronts to the main road so some traffic noise. Bar facilities good, Snack Bar facilities offer usual meals, sandwiches etc, which were all cooked fresh anytime during the day/evening.
Hotel location a good 40 minutes walk to centre of Laganas/beach. 10 mins walk to nearest reasonably stocked supermarket. Couple of Restaurants within short walking distance but plenty in Laganas centre.
Hotel is a bit out from the main town but is ideal for a quiet holiday hotel location.
“ Top Tip: Hire a Jeep to explore the island, some seculded and some busy beaches all down the west coast of the island. Island tour (shipwreck) by boat is a good day out.
